the KHC is a great place to learn and practice traditional Japanese arts that have been preserved throughout decades and centuries with both love and attention to detail.
Here you will meet staff members such as mr Makoto Kumagai who has over 40 years experience with the center and is passionate about sharing traditional Japanese culture with visitors from all over the world!
The KHC has a wide selection of courses you can participate in such as "Damascene accessory crafting", "Spinning Top Koma" workshops, "Woodblock" printing and many more!
With restaurant "Sho-ami" located in the same building you will be able to savour healthy traditional snacks that have been prepared with fresh local ingredients allowing you to load up on energy for a fun day full of creative and unique activities 😁😋
There is also a a huge souvenir shop that has everything from traditional Japanese dolls and paintings to locally made teapots, high quality robes and even "Star Wars" themed Koma's (spinning tops)
