(min: 2:15) "It's big and thick!" and that, ladies and gentlemen, is what she said 🤣🤣 Jokes aside, great video, I've actually been to Kyoto 5 times since Japan reopened their borders and I have been lucky enough to try most of the mentioned food.
I go to Kiyomizudera every time I visit Japan. I love this place, the scenery is great, and a lot of tourists. I like to go really early in the morning(week day). Thank You for posting this. ❤
Thank you so much for your videos. They are so amazing, and including the Google Maps pins in the caption really helps! Can't wait to try these on my upcoming trip :)
Makes me miss Japan more 🥲 We always go to Kyoto whenever visiting. I particularly remember Sawawa in arashiyama and kiyomizudera. I always buy their warabimochi
This video was fun and informative. 😊 Thank you for sharing your beautiful country and yummy looking food with us. I would love to come to your country for a visit. So rich in culture and beauty.
Hi guys! For too many reasons I haven't been here as much as I wanted but I sincerely want to wish you a great 2023, full of health, success, great videos and more subscribers. I'm so proud of what you have achieved and I'm so grateful to watch you growing up, love you. Arigatou, Akanemaru and Junjiro, you are special 🥂🍾🥳
Hi! Ingrid!! It's been a while! Thank you for your comment! This channel has grown so much this year. We'll be making even better videos and growing even more in 2023! Hope next year will be another good one for you. Thank you :)
Hello! Sorry that I haven't said hi lately. My kids and grandkids stayed with us for the holidays and I was so busy! Such a fun time! 🎄 So many delicious treats in Kyoto! I love the Mifi anpan!
Kyoto ~ the highest quality of matcha artisanal snacks and sweets 🤍🍵🇯🇵✨🍓🌸 everything looks so yummy !! The thing I love about Japanese sweets/snacks is that they have a perfect taste they’re not too sweet ex instead of filling the whole sweet with chocolate usually matcha or red bean is used to create some depth and bitterness !!
Thank you for watching our video! Kyoto was a fun place to visit, even for us Japanese. The scenery and buildings were amazing, and there was plenty of great food!!
Just wanted to say that your channel made me convinced to visit Kyoto's food scene. Every other food channel only mentions Tsukemono and Kaiseki, which I find boring. Thank you for highlighting the other foods of Kyoto!
hi Akanemaru & Junjiro!! Our family loves watching all your foodie vlogs ❤ Thanks for the tips and we’ll keep these handy for our travel by end of the year. Do you also have recommendations on where in Kyoto can we have a special meal (doesn’t have to be fancy or fine dining) to celebrate our anniversary? We’ll also be in Kyoto for the Christmas holiday, any restaurants you know that close a bit late? Thank you so much!!! ☺️💕
Hi! Thank you for watching our video! Sorry, we are not familiar with Kyoto, so we don't know of any such restaurants at the moment, but if we ever get the chance to visit Kyoto again, we will look into it :)
@@samurai_junjiro sure, thanks for your reply!! ☺️ my husband and I are fans of your vlog and all your videos are super informative, really helpful in our preparation for Japan travel in December. Hopefully we can also see you when we’re in Kyoto or Osaka by Christmas or New Year’s! ❤️
thank you so much for the great video! thanks to you, i have many new restaurants to try when i visit kyoto in next april! 😋🥰 do you have recommendation to eat at nagoya, hakodate, kobe and himeji? something beef, seafood and sweets? 😋 thank you so much, once again! *bow*
Thank you for watching our video! Glad to hear that! Sorry, we are not familiar with those places and don't know of any good restaurants, but Nagoya is famous for the dishes Tebasaki, Hitsumabushi and Miso Nikomi Udon. Hakodate is Hokkaido, so you can eat fresh seafood :) We hope our video will help you on your travel to Japan!
Thank you for your video!! I’m sure it will be helpful for my upcoming trip! Do you guys have any video on exotic food in Osaka/ Kyoto/ Tokyo? E.g. abalone liver, puffer fish, raw horse meat, whale sperm etc. Thanks in advance!! 😊
If you are going to Nishiki Market from Kyoto station, Shijo station would be the most convenient. From there it is about a 10 minute walk to Nishiki Market :)
