This is one of my favorite places in Japan.
I can roam around the replica of ancient Edo Japan (present day Tokyo).
This is where many Samurai movies are created. It's a lot like Universal Studios or Old Tucson.
Many have posted about the name so I've added some details.
It goes by a few names. The web site is toei-eigamura.com. The legal name is Toei Uzumasa Eiga Mura. The name I most often hear and use is Eigamura (movie village). Many people also refer to it as Uzumasa, which is also the area in which it is located, and the name of nearest train station. During my last trip, I noticed that the staff jackets said Toei Kyoto Studio Park. The web site also uses this name.
Video was taken with a Sony FX1 in HD, imported into iMovie'09 at a smaller resolution and then output back to 1080
