Kyoto is undoubtedly a very picturesque city, but as we can see in this beautiful walk the cities of Japan do not have any urban planning, streets and alleys that are intricate and intertwined in a totally random way! ... Thank you very much GlimpseJapan for sharing :-)
Nice video...Japan is best 👍..very calm and quiet... very peaceful...Japanese people are very polite and helpful... ❤️you Japan... Thank you for uploading this beautiful video..
Kitano is little bit far from center of Kyoto (Shijo or Kawaramachi). But It feels old Kyoto is not crowded. There is Big shrine (Kitano Tenmangu) which is World Heritage Site. I recommend for visiting there.
One of the most important things to do in Kyoto is to keep out of the way of the cyclists who ride on the sidewalk. I'm a cyclist, too, and I think cycle paths are a great idea; but wheels and legs should NEVER share the same thoroughfare. it's a reckless and irresponsible idea. It's not possible to enjoy a stroll in Kyoto (or anywhere else) if you have to keep looking behind you, especially when some cyclists ride at excessive speed. I've already been hit by more than one.
