400 yards for a win mag 20 inch drop for 200 grain ELD-X Hornadys sighted in at 200 yards, its 24.3 inch drop at 400 yards sighted in at 100. I always sight my .300 WM in at 200, super easy I sight it 3 inches high at 100 shoot at 200 and its dead nuts just to double check lol I have a reticle above the center cross hairs that is on the money at 100 or less
I wonder if he was going for the boiler room or the high shoulder? Anywhere close to the spine seems to be a bang flop! It’s a good choice in high mountains when your trophy can disappear off a cliff faster than a rock rolling down a hill. What’s amazing is that the guides and him did all the hard work to get him that 400 yard chip shot! Great hunting! I’m super jealous. Ibex is at the top of my dream hunt list!
Goat birria is soooo good. However I bet the locals cook them up perfect. There’s a reason people have been eating goat meat our entire existence… it’s delicious!
Glad he hit the spine. Usually look for a vital shot so you don’t miss high but dude laid the sucker down so I guess we can’t argue about shot placement? Lol
