It is not that kyrie is good at selling fakes/hesi It is that defender have no choice but to buy it, because he can go anytime to where he fakes and shot there on the spot or drive through to rim Just like dray said you can only do everything to slow him down and just settle with the result

So much of what he does is simple fundamental basketball. But done with such advanced textbook precision with so many layers of counters it his play comes off as dazzling, yet highly effective.

Yes it comes off as dazzling because it’s many 1v1s / 1v2s Ina matter of seconds and most of time he wins. He knows all the combinations it takes to get score. No counter measures up because he has a counter himself

he has mastered the fundamentals of basketball which allows him to master certain angles and body positions. if you can’t master the fundamentals, you can’t access the higher levels that come after that. Kyrie is the last apprentice of Kobe, he is the living legend that will continue the legacy
