@@SkunkFarmer420 they've made some of the best shoes ever. I've tried different shoes and only Kyrie's felt comfortable. He also had some of the best collabs.
I hope he actually signs with Lining. Been trying out the chinese brand recently and so far their shoes are almost as good as Nike's but cheaper. The only problem is their design choices lol.
@@jjorjojo Man fr and it was over nothing too. I will try out the Ja Morant's since it seems like he was Kai's replacement, but I have a feeling they won't be as good as the Kyrie's.
Would love to more about kyrie skills training, from kyrie himself. Like if gilbert arenas gets so much love i bet a kyrie podcast, when he retires, would be phenominal
There's two variations of the jab step imo. The shallow, but explosive one to sell the move or the deep jab step to help create space for a jumpshot/pump fake. Doing the deep jab step into a pump fake then explosive jab into a pull up or drive can have you looking like Prime Melo. Im no pro but hopefully this can help somebody out.
I freaking love Kyrie and IMO Kyrie 7s are goated basketball shoes. I had my tb university blue 6 months ago, blue is my favorite color and a week later he got traded to the Mavs, which also happens to be my favorite team, I felt like the heavens did me a solid.
man you are the greatest in terms of handles but, it is not clear, its a beutiful video, nice shots with the camera but seems to be difficult learn the food movement if we can not see it. thanks for trying to share your knowledge thought
*VIDEO is DEF not for amateurs or casuals - it's more for advanced-level ballers who already know what those moves or plays are because they seem hard asf
Bruh wtf is this? How come this video barely popped on my feed? I’ve never seen this before. Reminds me of Nike signature moves they did back in the day
This is a great video in terms of how it looks and the information but if you wanted to show it to your kid you need to see his body in full from angles that show exactly what he's doing. Not the upper half then the feet or his head.
Isn't that travel at 00:44 to 00:46? I thought you couldn't lift your pivot foot before making the ball bounce. I'm still learning basketball basics so trying to learn so I can be more competitive and understand the rules better.
I wanna like this but the graphic lines are distracting, the split screens are either outta sync or focused on the wrong movement or too far zoomed in. This feels less like fundamentals for viewers and more about how can we make kyrie look cool. Did he hire family to make the vid?
I'm a critic of the editing, yes there's information here, but I don't like the story the editor told. This seems more like a teser than a video about fundamentals, it dones't seem like any thoughts are fleshed out or even introduced/easy to follow. Ofc it could be because Kyrie might not have performed well, but all I can see is the editing so that's the assumption I'm making.
Seriously, in a lot of fundamental teaching videos players lift their pivot foot then release the ball from jab step. Isn't that travel strictly speaking? Is it in the sole discretion of the ref to call it or not?
@@HitYaHoe The NBA rule, section 13b, is that a player who has not yet dribbled has "one step prior to releasing the ball." In my opinion this means that you're supposed to release the ball before lifting the pivot foot. It looks here like his hand is on top of the ball as he lifts the pivot foot, which some might consider a release. It's a tough call in my opinion.
@@EricTinkerhess At what point do you consider the dribbling has started... In the NBA rule book it says "Once the offensive player establishes a pivot foot, he may move his other foot as many times as he chooses, but the ball must be out of his hands to start his dribble, before he lifts his pivot foot off the floor". Can out of his hands mean not holding with both hands, or it has to be interpreted as not touched by either hands...
@@homoruge It seems that the rule you are referring to would make this a travel then, since the ball is still touching Kyrie's hands when he lifts the pivot foot. The section I cited is rule no. 10, section 13b. What rule are you referring to?
