He was literally the third offensive option. He’s like not then the 5th on the nets. They don’t need him to score the basketball a lot, just okay defense like he used to in Philly. He’s been doing really great. 8 8 and 8 on 52% fg still no threes but we’ll have to see if he’s still scared or not
What are the reasons? I seriously want to know what “reasons” he finds to not play. You can’t say injury or anything relating to COVID. What reasons and excuses has he ever found not to play? Please tell me one. Just one.
@@officialconch I mean he literally once dipped out for like two weeks to go to his sister's birthday party. He didn't even contact his team or anything, he just dipped. He's also talked about wanting to retire in his "early to mid 30s" He's 30 right now. This is a guy who's spent a large part of his career injured, missed games for one reason or another when he actually was healthy be it covid or the aforementioned sister's birthday, and has talked about wanting to retire at the age his is now. Like that's not nothing.
Honestly he can do what he wants. But knowing guys like kyrie, lebron, kd, steph, klay, paul george, and russ only have a little while longer to play, i don’t think ppl should be getting mad about it. A lot of us grew up watching these guys and knowing that they’ll be retiring soon is sad.
@@Spencerwalker21 true but if they keep Kyrie for the rest of the season there IS a chance a SMALL chance they could win a ring I mean they were considered contenders so hey the best scenario for the nets is they win a ring this year and if they can’t build a good enough roster around KD in the offseason then they just trade KD
Somebody explain to me how this gets him closer to a bag. He was on a better team in Brooklyn. He had managed to go almost 3 months without making a total spectacle of himself and he had to 'prove it' to get his contract. Now he's on a worse team, just reminded every owner and GM he can't be trusted and still has to play out the season to 'prove it' before getting a deal. At best this didn't hurt his money making potential. There is no way in which it improves his bargaining power unless he wins a title, which he was more likely to do in Brooklyn.
I would love to see him on the bucks but this isn’t how the business works he doesn’t have a choice where he goes right now. He will this off season tho
its not that crazy if you consider alot of things, i just think it puts the franchise in a bad spot, the fact he probably dont care says something about brooklyn
He wants a contract that he likes; they aren’t willing to give him that, he’s letting them know that they should get something for him instead of just letting him go in free agency. But the team looks good so they’re probably thinking if they do well in the playoffs, he might resign for what they offered or if they win the finals, just give him what he wnats.
What is solidified ? He won only with bron then left the Cavs hanging to go to Boston to leave them hanging only to finesse the nets and KD and leave them hanging dude is a Bucket but It’s going so far is saying his career is solidified that’s a reach
Kd only went to Brooklyn bc of Kyrie, Kyrie wanted to play for his home team. Then, Kyrie finds every reason not to play and ends up being the biggest distraction they could’ve asked for. Now Kd is out on an injury and Kyrie abandons him?
He already set for life he probably has more money in his bank account than most will ever see in life so he might as well ring chase add to his legacy i wanna see him get 1 more he’s already been to the finals 3 times
He’s the bad environment! Who would enjoy playing with this bipolar dongle?? Boston slammin his head in probably did it for him. Best role player ever here: Kyrie Irving!
Yk his contract is still the same right 😂 so the bag means nun He doesn’t have any control over where he goes this is a business he doesn’t pick where he wants to be traded they didn’t even have to trade him if they didn’t want to they chose the best deal so what you have said is dumb
Kyrie creates a negative environment for himself and he looks for every reason to stay off the court he's the reason for the way his career turned out which isn't much post LeBron
@@Whis__ yeah agreed. considering hes asking for a trade pretty soon after they failed to get an extension done, its pretty clear its at least in part motivated by something contractually (which is fine, im just saying). idk how OP can say the nets cant win a ring when they were the 2 seed at one point and had a stretch where they went 18 - 2 before KD got injured.
If Kyrie was about his bag he wouldn't have done none of the off the court things he's been doing for the past 3 years. Kyrie messed up his own bag BIG TIME
@@brooksdior3531 he’s a great basketball player, but when you never play how can you be one of the best in the league? Its similar to kawhi. And at this point isn’t it clear Kyrie doesn’t care much about winning
