TW A theory I read was that Sayori didn’t get the “instant death” she was hoping for, then started suffocating. Of course, suffocating is scary, so she tried to break free, but could only scratch her neck, hence, the bloody hands.

The fact that she wanted you to kill herself and midway when shes abt to die she regrets it and tries to break free but fails- its so fucking disturbing to me i never thought that was the reason why she had bloody hands- ( im now scared of ddlc )

The fact that the song gets so dissonant, listening to it feels like having a fever dream on how much is happening on the background. Coincidentally, playing DDLC felt like a fever dream so it all connects together, somehow.

I watched 3 seconds of your video and then immediately went to go listen to the full song for the first time. This song felt like every line was about sayori. I had only played DDLC for the first time two months ago (but watched a full playthrough years ago), so it is still very fresh in my mind. Sayori is my favorite character, so obviously I chose her route. I knew what happened at the end of the first act, but still dreaded what awated me. And when I did unfortunately find her body, I screamed in a way that my mom would have thought I got murdered if I hadn't warned her earlier that night. Just wanted to ramble because Sayori is my favorite and I can somewhat see myself in her.

Ok..when I discovered this song on my yt recommendations, I thought it was a really cute song (I should've known that a cute sounding jp song will have a really dark meaning💀) I never payed much attention to the lyrics, and the comments were JP so I couldn't even read some interpretations of the song... I never expected it to be related to Sayori💀😭 And seeing the lyrics now... I can't unsee it now, it makes so much sense😭😭

This song is NOT about ddlc. Iyowa mentioned before that they wanted to make something about ddlc but this one is not it. This was an entirely different project unrelated to DDLC in its entirety

oh~ i didn't know that iyowa mentioned that before, may i know where they said that?? :D but still, i think a lot of people, including me, thinks of it as a song about sayori because of a lot of similarities(basically everything i explained in the whole video), and imo, i think it's okay to still interpret it that way because it is in the end of a day a song, a form of art, where every person can have different interpretation^^
