Kz 900 Drag Bike Run's 9.0's(Part) 3 

I ran a 78 LTD with an 1198cc 12.5 to 1 with a J Model VHR pro head. Left hand Denco tricone sidewinder and 36mm lectron carbs. With a 12 inch slick I ran a consistent 8.90 index. I miss the bike, I wrecked it when a semi pulled out infront of me. I spent 2 months in the hospital and watched the paramedic amputate my leg above the knee at the scene.Be careful and keep doin what your doin, nothing like a Z1 Kaw for having a good time.

My 1075cc KZ built by Perf. Cycles John Delisle of Ocala fl. 8" slick,33mm smoothbores,3X Andrews cams,1-2 auto trans,and a lockup clutch.. I got consistent 9.teens and a couple of 9.0`s with a fresh build. Good run on yours...
