I so much hoped for them to be giant killers!
I love planar sound and these have entry price low enough to recommend them to my friends and family: however, planar sound may not suit everyone.

I ordered a pair after this video since I've always been interested in just trying out some IEM's. Normally my ear canals are just to small for anything in-ear, but for that price it's worth the shot. They arrived today and holy hell they have no business being that good for that kind of money. I normally use HD800S, so I've the rest of my system is catered to them and I didn't notice the harshness (I've picked gear for less sibilance like akm velvet dac etc). If I disregard the HD800S has a lot better extension above 10K and soundstage, then they are not too far off in detail and better low base (although a bit elevated). So thank you for the recommendation, these will be my new office/travel headphones! :)

Yes! And let them play for like 200h hours (yes that's one long burn in!) and you'll hear what they are capable of. They have no right to be that good for that price :) I've also ordered Symphony, that's combination of planar and dynamic, we'll see how this one will turn out :)

I just purchased a pair I appreciate the info about them and the cable. I'll be using them more for gaming myself because I want a wide soundstage. I use the Zero Reds for music but I never gave them a burn in, I wonder if I should.

They will get burn-in while using, it will just take that much longer. These are very precise with great sound stage and positioning so you'll be fine with gaming, but please let them shine now and then and listen for some music too ;D

Thanks for the shout-out! I've already purchased them, but they're still in transit. I'm also considering KZ Symphony since the price dropped a bit recently. In terms of KZ Castors from your previous review I wasn't super impressed at the beginning and only after fiddling with the EQ by bringing the low frequencies up I can say I'm actually pretty happy with the way they sound. I think it's quite important as well to have a good seal in the ear canal. I've noticed significant improvement and they started to sound less harsh and bright when I replaced the medium tip with large.

Yes seal is always crucial, without it everything is off and larger tip will also help with the seal. Lows in Castor are fine, though you can always eq them to your liking. As for symphony I saw that price drop and one hand I'm curious about them, on the other hand nobody (almost! :)) seems to be watching my headphone reviews so I just don't know if I should get them. Well, I have till 7th to make up my mind:)

@@k4syx I've received them and at the first glance wasn't very impressed, but again the tight seal is everything. For some reason the foam buds that come with the headphones were slightly deformed, but put on the silicon ones the dynamics improved. I take your recommendation and they're going to burn for a while and let's see what happens to them. On another note I also purchased Symphony and they sound very good straight out of the box. They're more dynamic and the sound stage is very good. Perhaps it's time to fulfil another desire...I've been looking at Azure Dragon and Hidizs MP145....slightly more expensive, but apparently very good. Let me know if you have any opinion on them.

@@demart28 My Symphony is still in transit :( I've read that MP145 are slightly worse than S12 Pro (that I own) with very similiar price so I've lost interest in them. Pr3 however was tempting because of unreal price :)

Hi sir lazada currently have discount price 26usd .should i buys yhis for my 1st planar iem? Im using alc5686 dac dongles can power this planar to listenable and nedium potential? Whats Ur thought on this or should i just get cca rhapsody instead?

Yes it's on sale with even better price till the 7th. I think you should be good, thought this headphone scales well, so with better dongle or some headphone amp you'll be even better!

Would it be a mistake to use these with a bluetooth 5.2 adapeter? If it is then are there any kz headphones you would recommend for every day use? Ive had a few pairs and ive liked them all but there is so much variety now

@@garyr4818 These or Symphony. I have KZ AS24 Bluetooth adapter lined up for a review soon, so stay tuned. They will also work fine with any good wired bt adapter like qudelix!

Thanks! No, no way. It's superb. But S12Pro is like 4-5 more expensive and it shows. It's more fluid, musical with better bass. But less than 40usd for these is a steal.
