KZ Tandingan《Royals》"Singer 2018" (REACTION) 

She is overqualified and got eliminated. 💁

Take note: She's a Filipina who flew on china to compete Jessie J and other great singers but unfortunately she got eliminated because she is the real deal.

She becomes the song!😂 she is indeed overqualified so the judges decided to terminate her.😊🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

During that competition, KZ went to visit a school of ancient traditional Chinese opera. She then incorporated her interpretation of that into the intro of this song. The significance of this is lost in our western view because we don't know this brand of opera, but the Chinese audience went wild at the beginning because they immediately recognised what KZ was doing. Blows my mind how she fused ancient theatre seamlessly together with rock, caribbean, rap, metal (think Rage Against the Machine), and goodness knows how many more musical genres are in that song. KZ is just brilliant - the fusion queen!

I think what makes these reaction videos by bubs and doe so much fun to watch is their friendship. their interaction to each other is just so connected and genuine. Hi ladies, always LOVE your reactions. A bit of KZ is never wrong. Like you said. This woman is freakin AMAZING!!! She takes songs that are already pretty amazing. And turns them into something completely different. But, still freakin AMAZING!!! On a different note. You may have noticed a seemingly young Chinese guy who is a fellow competitor calling out KZ, KZ. His name is Hua Chenyu. You pronounce it like saying Watchin you. He came in, in episode 4. Singing "Wukong". KZ came in, in episode 5. With her rendition of "Rolling In The Deep" which you have reacted too. He finished 1st in episode 4, and he finished 3rd in episode 5 with "Child" behind Jessie 2nd, and KZ in 1st. He came 1st in episode 6 with "Nunchucks" while Jessie came in 2nd singing Prince's "Purple Rain" which I thought was incredible. I thought she should have came 1st. Many of his other performances were equally excellent. As was nearly every singer on the show. He finished 2nd to Jessie J over all. I think that BUBS & DOE would also be fans after reacting to him 💛💛💛
