It’s widely acknowledged that a lady named Regine Velazquez is the undisputed music queen of the Phillipines (she’s a legend) but in my eyes, KZ is the “soul / R’n’B queen of the Phillipines”. She, like many Filipino singers, has the uncanny knack of taking any song & making her version sound WAY better than the original, as she demonstrates so beautifully in this video.
