Thanks video, I have a kz 1000 and no manual, so this is awesome. Now I know the kind of time it will consume...if it were edited I might think it would only take 5 minutes.
No problem man im glad it helped someone. Id plan on a few hours of work from start to finish. The manual will tell you to remove the carbs but its unnecessary. You'll need to purchase a shim installation tool which is pretty cheap. a local bike shop might have one in stock.

Hi , please advise , my manual says I have to remove the cam chain tensioner cap and spring before removing the cover to replace the gasket , which I’m worried about is this really necessary? I don’t want to do anything wrong and worried about it going back together right , cheers Steve it’s a 83 kz1100
