What a cozy and fun getaway! This video makes me miss fall already. We rent houses in upstate New York with friends in the winter for a weekend escape so watching thos reminds me of those good times! Even the rain didn't turn down your excitement, good for you! I love almond croissants too! (Though not a huge fan of cider) well seems like you tried a lot of different adult beverages!
I LOVE Settlers!! One of the best games. It looked like an amazing accommodation and I really loved the cozy common area. Nice that you had somewhere to go for dinner and the bakery seemed great too. Too bad it was raining so much, but made the fire extra cozy. And I would definitely want to visit the brewery 👌 I'm becoming a big fan of cider
This place looks so nice! We love staying in cozy places like this during the fall, ESPECIALLY if they have fireplaces. The electric blankets are a nice touch too! Also, we love Settlers of Catan! We play it all the time with our family and friends back home. It's a great way to see the competitive side come out of people haha 😂 Glad you guys were able to make the most of your time there despite the rain!
Love you guys enthusiasm. The area to me is more like the Scottish Borders than the English Midlands, especially in winter. Only a little over an hour from the coast and the subtropical climate of Durban, but an entirely different ecosystem. Can't wait to get back to KZN in a few days, before the grey English winter sets in. Best wishes from Warwickshire.

Wish I had spent more time in the midlands when I lived in Durban. Now that I'm stuck on the surface of the sun (Phoenix Arizona) that perpetual rain, greenery and fall colors looks like paradise to me.
