Did you say "2019"??? I thought it was an old 60's vinyl! No, really... I don't hate it, but it's re-hashed, down to the girl talking (up, down, up, down) rather than singing (thank you, Brigitte Bardot). I guess it can sound "fresh" if you're really young... and not french... but tell me, why NOT make it new FOR REAL? 60 years pass, and nothing new to ADD? That's just sad...

@@waanaabe-4795 There is truth in what you say, no doubt...but, sometimes i am more impressed by someone doing old stuff as if it were new instead of trying to be innovative a tout prix and failing miserably...

@@gehegedrei With you 100% about "a tout prix"!!! My issue is not the music itself, but everyone treating it like it just got "invented" out of nowhere... It is NOT original. It's decent music, far from "the best of the year, but some of it good; I'm just not easily impressed, I guess... Have a good day! :)

C'est putain de vrai. J'adore le BrianJonesTown Massacre, le Paris d'avant le cataclymse moderniste pompidolien, le Velvet et les Stones, j'adore tous les Seigner, les deux soeurs sensuelles avec les yeux mi-rêveurs, mi-raide def, mi-orgasme et peut-être encore plus leur papy Louis et son sourire malin, et j'adore la posture d'Anton Newcomb et peut-être encore plus son fabuleux joueur de tambourin à clochette que je sais plus comment il s'appelle ... Nan, vraiment, j'adore tout ça. Mais là, c'est quand même "citation-citation" et des p'tits jeunes et starlettes branchouilles qui viennent prendre un peu de poil à la vieille bête psyché-rock. Mieux vaut un bon récital du Massacre dans une bonne salle avec deux-trois (dix) bières dans l'coco ou un p'tit pèt' dans la tête et lévitation assurée.
