In 2015 I moved to Massachusetts. Before that I used to live in Inglewood and grew up in Westchester. For years my sister and I used to go down to the marina every summer and ride the water taxis and go eat at the Cheesecake Factory. Thank you for bringing back such wonderful Carefree memories. I Lived in MDR for 12 years and had to leave because it became too expensive but I really miss it a lot Such a special place to live! My place was mariners village and I feel blessed I had the luck to enjoy fir these years

I grew up on the Jersey shore and when I was in the Air Force, I was on or should I say the close to the San Francisco Bay at TRAVIS Air Force Base and spent a lot of time in Florida very close to the ocean, I guess that’s why I was born an Aquarius the water sign anyway I love your videos. Was just there last night, ate at Whiskey Reds. Got nice sunset photos, boats, birds, moon came up right after we left. Should have hung out a little longer. Not the first time there. Always nice here.
Hey buddy! Your videos let me re-live my younger yrs in LA, skid row and Santa Monica pier. I'm 70 now and now I realize how tough I was in the '80s and trotted all these areas homeless and broke. Believe it or not good memories thanks.

Ahhhh! Memories. In the early 80's when I was a kid my grandmother would bring me here to fish. Back then they had a fishing area, a floating pad thing off the path that charged $2.00. I spent many days there.

Thanks for the video! So nostalgic for me. Back in the 1980s my dad kept one of his yachts there, a Gulf Star 50, docked in a slip next to Stallone's. Nice and clean marina. There was also a fried chicken place that was excellent.

Used to work near Marina Del Rey and visited the location monthly. Took my family there a few times but only rode the boat ride once. The boat feel like it was going to flip over so the kids never wanted to ride it again. Did road a big yacht there back in 2007 for a company party and it is amazing. I really love the place and it is very relaxing.

Great video. I like to bike ride to Marina Del Rey. My son belongs to the boat club there & takes a Duffy around the Marina. Next time I’m there will look for the Fisherman’s Wharf.
