Last. week I took a solo trip to Los Angeles, California & had a fun filled weekend. From the Santa Monica Pier, exploring downtown L.A, stopping at The Dunes, home of season 1 of Insecure, and eating at great restaurants like Prawn located at the Grand Central Market. YES! I plan on traveling to CA at some point this year alone. Not just for trip but to scope out apartments. I like traveling alone because you get to do whatever you want, whenever you want. You don’t have to wait around for ANYONE.

Solo trips are so relaxing and you get to do whatever you want unapologetically. You can even start somewhere nearby you've always wanted to visit! LA is a must see!

Girl I live an hour away from LA and the book store & the grand central market I will def be going to on the weekend! I always do solo trips or my sister goes with me to find random places to shop or mostly eat lol. Hoped you liked it out here! And love your channel 😃

My advice is to take the normal precautions you’d take when in your own city. I felt perfectly safe going out, taking Uber’s & exploring the city. Be aware of your surroundings & you’ll be just fine

Solo trip 😍Wow. I love to travel solo. It's a different feeling to enjoy our own company. As you enjoyed places, food & activities I just loved it. Your way of expressing feelings is amazing. I am local to LA & visited almost all areas. I was in search of peace then I found Quantum Clinic. It is a beautiful place for peace lovers. I Tried sound therapy there & its amazing. I would recommend you to cover Quantum Clinic in your next video. You & your audience will love it.

How expensive were the Ubers? I’ll be staying at the same hotel and I know it’s not near a lot of tourist sites.

@@stacidugger6964 Ubers here can be very pricey and they quickly add up. My suggestion would be to get a rental car, it’ll save you money in the long run

@@stacidugger6964 that's what the hold would be for a rental if using a credit card too no? Rough estimate Uber's are at least $30 one way but that could depend on time of day & distance too

I want to do a solo trip! This was great. Can't wait to see more. Few questions: How was the hotel for Black women, honestly were you treated fairly?? What hotel did you stay at? Is that hotel (please name) walking distance to everything pretty much? I dont want to take uber If I'm doing SOLO as a black woman. Thankssss

I can't remember the name of the hotel but it was literally right next to LAX so I did have to take ubers everywhere. I will say that I felt safe the whole time, never felt nervous travelling alone. Do some research on the places you'd like to go to and you'll be fine!
