So glad you visited . Just so people know, you can take the train from Santa Monica to the Pantages and the Museum. Also Downtown. And metrolink takes you to Anaheim ( Disneyland).
Nice VLOG.. I think more people need to get out and experience their "self love"! Keep up the great work young lady! Looking forward to more videos. :)
I’m 100% with you on the whole ‘vlogging in public’ thing! We just need to keep practicing 💪 LA in 2019 was my first solo overseas trip, I’m still obsessed with that place, can’t wait to visit again soon!
Im glad you were empowered to take this trip. Im looking to do something similar all the way from Australia early next year, thanks for putting this together i know how much effort must have gone into it!
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! Yes, this trip was so empowering and I highly recommend that others also experience solo travel!! 😊😊
hey I am trying to convince myself to do this, idk why it's so scary i booked my flights though! i need to stop myself from cancelling them. I'm still looking for a place to stay- do you have any recommendations?
Thank you for watching!!😍 The only place that required a vaccine or negative COVID test was the Hamilton show, and masks were required indoors everywhere!
Yes!! I wasn’t comfortable driving in a new city, so I used Lyft everywhere. Lyft was the cheapest option. One thing I wish I knew was that the wait times can be up to 15-20 mins so schedule your ride while you’re getting ready! 🥰
I really enjoyed watching your vlog. I was just wondering where you stayed in Santa Monica? And do you recommend it? Also how comfortable did you feel in the area being by yourself?
Thank you for watching! 🥰 I stayed at the Huntley Santa Monica, and I would definitely recommend it! I was near a lot of shopping/restaurants, so I felt pretty comfortable being alone in the area. Keep in mind that LA does have a large homeless population, and in some areas, I didn't feel as comfortable walking around alone.
Congrats on doing your first vlog! It's so awkward vlogging in public (especially when you're alone) so well done! Hope you're proud of yourself, it's harder than it looks for sure! Great vlog, keep it up, it'll all be worth it! Lots of love xxx
the way your confidence came through by day 3. i was like yess work momma lol. i love the vinb of this video. it screams self care and relaxation vibes. i am definitely going on a solo trip this year. never been to la so this might be the move for me
Thank you soo much for watching!! And yesss my confidence definitely came through on the 3rd day 😍 I'm glad this inspired you and I hope you have a wonderful trip this year!
Thank you for your question!! To be fully transparent: the plane ticket was $170 round trip, $400 on all the Ubers/lyfts, $1500 for 4 nights at my hotel, $500 on entertainment/shopping/leisure and then around $300 on food! Overall around $2870, I hope this helps 🙏🏽
QUESTION! I want to do a solo trip to CA but I hate taking Uber alone. Was everything WALKING distance from the hotel for the most part? Like to attractions, amenities, restaurants, sights?? Thank you!!
Hi! Thank you for watching, I stayed in the Santa Monica area and there were a lot of things that were within walking distance, but you'll definitely need to take an uber or train from the airport. I stayed near the 3rd street promenade, and there was a lot to do in the area. I'd say to do your research about the area you want to stay in to make sure there are enough restaurants and attractions that you want to visit! I hope this helps, stay safe and have so much fun!🥰
