Hi Nancy, just for your information, you could have looked at the switch and saw that it was lined up for the mainline because there was a green target showing on the switch stand. So that would have told you that they would have had to stop at the switch and reposition it to go to the left of you. Thank you for another great video!

You caught the loaded L'Anse Local coming down L'Anse Hill, passing the Ford switch to the L'Anse railyard. You then waited for the local to put the engines on the other end of the train to bring it out of the yard to head to the Koppers and CertainTeed plants. You made a good decision to stop at the Fiber Yard. I enjoyed watching the switching at the Fiber Yard.

Have a good trip downstate. I'm usually in Durand on Saturdays. I stop in the afternoon after leaving my brothers. If nothing is happening I keep going. It will be good to see your videos since I don't get to Port Huron very often.

Another fair size train how close to 20 cars it's good to see the loads picked up at the fiber yard. Sudden activity a few days ago with some of the old WC Mega log haulers suddenly five of them were seen southbound headed towards Green Bay. Oddly a slight change in the reporting marks which were similar to Louisiana Pacific for the Sagola plant but hear these were going the opposite direction. In terms of actual pulpwood or wood chip volume the mill near Kaukauna is the winner by far. Have a safe and hopefully dry trip to that other part of the state that forgets the UP
