Here’s the blotter update…
- I’m pleased to report that Soleil improves as it develops. That dubious white floral note fades away, to make room for a surprisingly fleshy, textured mimosa. Not the innocent, yellow, puffy powderiness we normally associate with the flower. Perhaps it’s the vanilla in the base lending the whole a sensual quality. All in all, not an especially memorable addition to the catalogue, but certainly better than the opening suggests it will be.
