I love that Clark never used his xray to check on Lois. even when he was very attemp to, he only used after they were married, and she couldn't resist. They are so perfect for each other, I loved this episode cause actually you only imagine how his life is and when she lives and understand they create a bond even stronger. So many great moments in this episode.
These evil sisters shot a red kryptonite ray at Superman and because he was shielding Lois from the ray, his powers transferred to her. Of course he gets them back at the end.
@Hyperventilationn - At the start of this episode - Bad gals Shelly Long and Mary Gross decide to use a red kryptonite beam on Superman to make him apathetic. It didn't. When he got hit with the red kryptonite beam, trying to save Lois, all his Superman powers was transfered to Lois! Who made her costume? Martha Kent!
Well from what I’ve seen w interviews, both seem pretty grounded especially at that time.think that’s why they got along even w the updated interviews now.
You know.. every time you see Clark at night he is always wearing boxers. Never once, in this show, has he worn briefs. Lol. I dunno why you would lie about wearing boxers for tho.. hahaha
@sweetypie1988a On both they do similar things when around red K. The thing with this is that the two villians in this episode made a device to steal his powers with a ray gun using red k
that's the funny thing tho they always changed red kryptonite effects on this show when it was first introduced in season 2 it made superman apathetic to wear he didn't care about nothing so in this episode the sisters where thinking it would make him apathetic again but this time it transferred his powers to lois making her ultra women and then in season 4 it made him lose control of his powers to where he felt dangerous so they changed red kryptonite effects in this show .
Frederick LaFrance in fact in boxer short not boxer 😬 I remember the one where he was kidnapped by John Doe (S4). He was sleeping next to Lois, he had a bad dream he was worried he got up and he was wearing a dark red boxer short
His muscles probably atrophied from never really having to use them that much since his powers take care of that. If you've seen someone bed ridden for months, they can't even stand up on their own. Plus it also depends on the cap and if it's wet from condensation and smooth, it can be hard to grip it so you might need to grab a towel to help.
Weird that they used the wrong color for when Lois x-rays Clark's undies. In all the other episodes, when Clark does his x-ray vision- it's in blue and it's his heat vision that's in red.
It is a bit sexist that they make Lois \ Ultra Woman's X-Ray vision pink instead of blue, probably because she is a woman? When Superman's powers were transferred to William Wallace Webster Waldecker (Resplendent man), he had X-Ray vision also, just like Superman's
I think what I love about this retelling of the Superman myth/legend is how human both Clark Kent and Lois are... I enjoyed the recent movie 'Man of Steel' and that version of his Kyrptonian side, but there is a certain charm to the everyday difficulties of an alien living a normal human life.
