Hello di , I am from Assam and I love your videos . I just want to share something . In pumpkin pitha the shape is not like pumpkin , We have to add boiled pumpkin paste with rice powder dough and it add colour and a flavour of pumpkin .That's why it is called pumpkin pitha . We call it 'Lau pitha' or 'Rangalau pitha'( In assamese Rangalau means pumpkin ) .You should try the authentic 'Lau pitha' . She made it in pumpkin shape to present the dish beautifully in Master chef . Lots of love from Assam ... 😊
