L.E. Wilson Case Trimmer: A Review (and tutorial) 

I applaud you for towing the linevwith rhe L.E. Willson trimmer. I have 3, are very accurate and nice trim. I since learned this; caliber specific expensive holders and two types per caliber, slow. There are far better, faster and in some cases much cheaper trimmers options today that will also chamfer, deburr and trim in one take. Think tri-way trimmer and the like. If this works for you great. For me after 25 years of painfully slow trimming, I just couldn't see using that trimmer any longer. It's great for for 20-50 a batch, but not for any larger batches for me. Nice video.

As I stated in your other video, the Wilson case trimmer is top-notch. So much so that I have two. If you really want precision, get the debur and chamfering inserts for use with the case trimmer. They will make your cartridge cases completely uniform. Also, the nylon base that the whole affair sits on with a round nylon tap pad and spaces to hole all the case holders is nice. And, the 45 ACP is rimless like the 243 & 308. In fact, both can be cut down and used as 45ACP brass.

Thanks for another shout out and great video! My Buddy Willie Bulletman gave me one of these units, but it's not complete. I need to sit down and order the stuff I need to complete the set. I really miss my Brother, Willie. The main point he had for giving me the L.E.Wilson trimmer, was he had multiples, and he wanted me to be able to inside neck trim .30-06 brass. I want to set it up to trim my 6.5 Creedmoor brass, and .270 Winchester brass. Those are the rounds I use for long distance target shooting. Thanks again, Brother. See you soon.

Good afternoon man!! Good stuff!! I have not seen these. I swap mine to carbide. A little costly, but far better cutting and longevity. I have been at this long enough to dull a few cutters. Thats another quality Wilson "lathe" for trimming brass. Nice tutorial man!!

When you use your calipers how do you apply consistent pressure or does it matter. I wish someone could do a very on this. I believe I might be pushing to hard on my set.
