Very interesting instrument! Blown like a traverso? Is the shape of the mouth-hole oblong like later Palanca did, or completely round? It takes lots of air? What are the two bracket-like objects at the end of the head-piece?
yees, blown like a traverso, the mouth-hoole is small and complletely round, it broke down many years ago and no repair solved the problem and in the end I put in two plumber's pipe clamps
I have a PVC bass Renaissance flute (forget how I acquired it) and can barely hold it in the right hand, the wrist bend and distance is too great. You sound nice in yours, though!
