Reveuse Bass Solo Recorder

Yes. A "bass" recorder in C is what I would call a "great bass." Calling the smaller bass recorder in F a "basset" means that all the names for the larger bass recorders shift from the names I'm used to. The larger bass recorder in F that I would call a "contrabass" becomes a "great bass." My "sub-contrabass" in C becomes a "contrabass." The bass/basset usage can lead to misunderstandings.

Voor de hele kleintjes heb ik vijf duetten in de "Duo Schatzkiste" Schott ED 21629 voor sopraan blokfluiten (Zauberwalzer, Fruehlingstanz, 2 Riesen, Maeusefuesse, Stille Wellen) en twee duetten voor altblokfluiten in de bundel "Duo Schatzkiste" Schott ED 21384 (Cubafluta, Minimal Dreams waves). Voor meerdere niveaus dan mijn "7 Minimal Preludes" voor solo blokfluit, genoteerd voor alt maar speelbaar op alle soorten blokfluiten. Schott OFB 212.

This was played on a C-Bass Recorder in a'=415 Hrz. hand made by Friedrich von Huene for the recording of The Art of Fugue by the Amsterdam Loeki Stardust Quartet. The German Recorder factory Mollenhauer measured the instrument extensively and produces very nice copies now - however scaled down to a'=440 Hrz - under the name Denner Bass.

@@KarelvanSteenhoven Dear Karel, in reply to someone else you said this is C Bass recorder. Looking at your list, did you mean c small octave or C Contra?
