Hi Teresa! I have worn both for lengths of time. The L’Oréal feels just like skin and I have gone up under my eyes with no issues. Sometimes I will lightly powder my T-zone. The Covergirl if not applied thin can get dry and cakey. The application makes a huge difference. I don’t put it under my eyes or powder for the same reason. Hi Wendy! Primers can be tough. I usually start off without and see how the foundation looks. You can usually tell if you will need one or not. Sometimes it takes a little while to find that perfect combo. I have a couple primers that I know work well with almost all foundations. But like you said, you don’t always need one. That’s great that your using moisturizing foundations! I’m started to love them. They make mature skin look so healthy! Thanks so much for watching. 😊💕❤️

I totally understand. The L’Oréal is not a full coverage. It’s more of a light coverage. It definitely tones down any discoloration but I would need a concealer if I really wanted to hide it. The Covergirl does has a bit more coverage. I do prefer the feel of the L’Oréal over the Covergirl on my skin anyway! Thank you so much watching and commenting. 💕😊

Yes! I do love having extra sunscreen in my foundations. However, I always still use a separate sunscreen. The amount of foundation you would need to apply to get the SPF on the label would be an awful mess! 😳 Thanks so much for watching! ❤️😊☀️

Hi Love Jones, thank you so much and of course you can ask. Yes, I do shave my face. Not as often as I should, so I usually have some peach fuzz on my face. I actually have a dedicated video on how I do it. The peach fuzz can definitely be an issue with some foundations. The L’Oréal is like a gel cream IMO. I feel like it almost absorbs like a moisturizer (I know that sounds strange). It’s very lightweight compared to the Covergirl which could definitely sit on the hairs. If you don’t plan on shaving your face, I would still give it a try. It’s different than a traditional foundation. I hope this helps. Thanks so much for watching! 💕😊❤️

I have gone back-and-forth in my head about attempting to shave my face. Even though I am light skin, as a woman of color, I have this fear that if I shave my face, my hairs will grow back thick and dark. And also prickly stubble lol so I have not had the nerve to try it yet, although I do love the look that I see you ladies getting with the shaved face, so I am very torn

@@lovejones8041 I have a friend who refuses to shave her face for the same reasons. I think people think it will grow in thicker or darker because of the little stubble that you feel when it starts to grow back . It just feels rough for some people but most don’t even notice. I personally don’t notice it’s back until I apply makeup and realize it’s just sitting there. I think once you shave it, you won’t ever go back! It’s amazing. I don’t actually use a razor, some people do. If you have the time I’ll link the video I made shaving my face. The razors I use are so inexpensive and can be used on dry skin which is great for touch ups! I hope this is helpful! Let me know what you end up doing. Hi Kasey, if you don’t like full coverage, you should try the L’Oréal. Keep in mind though that it’s just a light coverage. You may need to use a concealer if there is anything you want to cover. The Covergirl could easily go on heavy if not careful and can make any texture look worse! The L’Oréal is more forgiving almost gel like. It blends better into the skin. IMO I hope this helps! Lol And then I went for more natural products as I went vegan in 90's to 2008 ! Then I stopped buying cosmetics with bad ingredients for my cats as they used to lick my face & hair !! Lol Phenoxethanol is one of 'em. Then, I became vegetarian and changed to more real natural cosmetic/ skincare products for my own sake ! But,last year ,I bought Wet'nWild hydrating tinted bb cream ( as my skin type changed to more normal less oily ,but aging ) because of the cleaner ingredients, pretty clean !! And WOW !! Really great product & so affordable !! I get compliments a lot from mom & my sister & men !! I love drugstore brands and have been changing a lot & significantly improving for the last decade or so !! Win/ win situation for the consumers !! I just love that !! Lol.
