I use this foundation pretty often and I find that no one on youtube knows how to apply it. It has a very weird texture at first you can not use a beauty blender or brush. You have to rub it in with your fingers then use a beauty blender, it changes its texture

I have it and love it. But what i have noticed is that it works better with a sponge and you have to work in sections. Because if you dot it all over the face and then try to blend it in, it will dry and become patchy. Just a suggestion.

With a thicker foundation like that you don't want to dot it on your face first. That's why it looked patchy

Little Stone don't dab it on your face and let it sit like that. Apply it to the back of your hand then put it on a beauty blender/brush, then blend it on your face.

Yes! This foundation dries down very quickly. You can't dot it on your whole face then blend it in. I have no problems when I use a brush and go one section at a time

Your oil production after 7 hours is my oil production after 1 hour, and your oils after 13 hours is mine after 4 hours with any foundation 😭 such a struggle

Aww the struggle is real I know. Have you tried applying oil to your face of a night time before bed. This can help reduce oil production. I recommend a good rosehip oil 😘

I love this foundation. I have ridiculously oily skin so i'm used to foundations looking cakey on my skin after about 3-4 hours. Even with the estee lauder double wear. But this foundation by loreal gives me the best coverage and that's why it's by far my most favourite ever :)

Im getting married next year so I would also love a holy grail wedding makeup video that focuses mainly on your current top choices for base products. I watched Tati's review on this foundation as well and she suggested applying it in sections to avoid the patchy look. It dries down quickly and looks weird if you don't. I ordered it from Ulta and am waiting on it right now... hopefully I like it!

There are things that you can get at any Walmart that are called oil absorbing sheets. Clean and Clear I believe makes them, and equate as well. They soak up all the oil on your skin and you can use them with makeup too! They're life savers, you should definitely check them out :)

I don't have overly oily skin, but I found that this foundation induced a lot of oil production. It looked great for a couple hours, but after that I was noticeably more oily than I am even without makeup.

Mine was patchy too!!! I fell like it sets so quickly on the kin that you need to blend it so fast and maybe even mix it with some kind of oil or moisturiser.... its a tough one but i really love it!

I've heard bad reviews on this from oily skin & dry skin people dry skin people say it clings to their dry patches & it breaks down gets cakes around the nose etc , I like the loreal matte foundation & the revlon matte & pore less those are great oily skin drug store foundations

something i've recently been trying and loving is milk of magnesia with the monistat chafing gel! both are amazing, used my makeup for only 7hrs and i wasn't even oily yet! could've most likely gone longer. I swear by it!

I've heard great things about milk of magnesia's ability to control oily skin. It however is not available in Australia as it does not meet our Food and Drug Authority guidelines 😫.

Nikkia - I really didn't like how it blended, and that it looked splotchy on you! I've watched other vids where it did the same. It sure would not be one for me, because of the oil... bless your heart you are brave to go on camera with that oil!!! I can't wait, my Mac order comes in today, and one tomorrow!!! First time try this foundation, it's patchy and separate from my skin. But then, I made my own potion, I've mix this foundation with maybelline fit me foundation the result are amazing, my skin are fullcovered, not really oily, and felt so light on my face. I have a super duper oily skin, even my eyelid get oily thorough the day and I life in a tropical country, and I sweating alot. So the mix of L'oreal Infallible Total Cover with Maybelline Fit Me Foundation help alot with my oily skin. And I've wear it while I play Pump It Up that makes me sweat alot and this mix stay in my face like I've just use it. So, I think u need to made your own Foundation Formula.

Have you tried Oil Absorbing Sheets from Clean and clear? love those and they come in handy you should invest in those especially through out the summer, they dont smudge your makeup whats so ever. I too suffer from oily skin and love all your videos. These little sheets have helped me alot and make my makeup look mate. Hope it helps :)

I have oily skin and purchased this.At first it looked really matte and dried up super fast while applying, but throughout the day it started to look very Cakey and got as oily as you did. 😬 But I loved the coverage it was definitely full coverage.

I used this foundation recently and I literally use tiny dots on my face and it looks extremely natural without using a lot of foundation. I loved it. I prefer the pro matte one though. That one just doesn't make my skin as flawless as this one.

My skin type is exactly like yours! And i feel the same way about the longevity, only use it on days when i wont be out more than 5 hrs. But I most definitely love the coverage!❤

Great review as always xoxo Can I just make a suggestion as a fellow oily girl:) When it comes to touch ups, I would think that most oily girls would use a blotting sheet first then powder because we all know that adding more powder to our oil slicks usually makes things worse quite quickly, so maybe in future reviews when/if you are extra oily at the last check in review, you could try using a blotting sheet first then the powder and see what happens. I think this foundation looked pretty good at the 7 hr mark, had you used a blotting sheet then powdered at this stage, I reckon it would have held up much better ( I know you didn't for review purposes and I fully understand, I'm just questioning a "real" wear day time) but in all fairness to the foundation, it's rare that anybody would wear it for near 14 hrs without any touch ups, so it didn't pretty good I reckon and your skin looked good, just oily:) With the heat wave we are having her in OZ at present, I'm surprised any foundation stays put on our oily faces:)

Nikkia I get your 13.5 hour shine with Revlon colorstay after about 6 hours then do a touch up with powder, then it stays matte for another 6 or so hours :-) i bought the revlon based on your recommendation! I think i just suffer with waaaay more oily skin haha. Your skin looks perfect to me! xxx

You should try Merle Norman's lasting foundation...I have combination oily skin and it stays matte all day and its non transferable when you don't use powder over top of it.

Hi Nikkia I have unfortunately used this foundation and it failed 😵 I used a brush to apply and also tryed to bake with it and it was awful👎 It seperated and got quite patchy😕 I would not reccomend this to anyone! I am sticking with my infallible matte that i absolutely love 😍 That foundation sucks and i hope no one wastes their money on it! Thank you for your thoughts and review cause i have very oily skin and did not keep it on all day so now i know its definately not for me😝 Thank you Nikkia

This foundation is matte, but not oil control. I have super dry skin, and it doesnt dry me out heavily. I typically mix it with the pro glow, but I dont think its meant for oily skin.

It is patchy because you placed the foundation on both sides of your face in the beginning. The foundation is fast drying! I personally don't care for the foundation since I had a lot of separation on my forehead throughout the day. Just a tip though apply as you go not all at once☺

It looks like it dried too much before you got it blended out. Love your videos! I'm oily like you, so your foundation reviews are awesome! Sometimes I think the long wear foundations make my oily skin produce oil quicker for some reason. The Doublewear is a good foundation, but it looks and feels so mask like on me, I only use if for special occasions. Next foundation I'm going to check out is Chanel velvet one. I want a more natural finish, but Lord, this oily skin, lol.

Thanks for another great review. I will definitely pass on this foundation because my skin produces in four hours oil similar to what you had after 12 hours. The double wear looks so cakey and textured on me for some reason. Maybe I will give it another try.

I know you're trying to show us what foundation will do during the course of your day, but do you ever use blotting papers? I never leave the house without them!! Also, at the beginning of the video, before applying any makeup, your eyebrows looked amazing and fuller than usual. Did you do something to them??

I find this foundation makes my skin oily after about two hours, and it makes the texture on my skin reaaally noticeable after a couple hours. It also rubs off my face easily, which I did not expect. Like, if I touch my face with my finger, I'll have a red blotch on my face from the foundation sticking to my finger
