L'ubica Vargicova - Lucia di Lammermoor 

I had the chance to see her in a live performance of Lucia di Lammermoor some years ago.... It was stunning... one of the best Lucia's I've ever heard... Great! Wish there was more video or CD material of her art.. once you've heard and seen her you can't get enough of that marvellous voice.

She's without doubt the greatest Lucia of the past 15 years. Including such greats as Devia and others. Superb!

How old is she and where is she from? I think her voice is breath-taking! And it sounds like she's a wonderful actress as well. Obviously with an auto you can't pass full judgement. But from the sound alone I feel so much passion. I agree there needs to be more material available with her. She deserves to be just as famous as Renee Fleming and Natalie Dessay. (Who I also think are phenomenal!)

@Silver54ful well, i'm too lazy to google after a few beers, but i believe he is slovak, at least i found her name in our national opera's repertoir. so much for the nationality :)
