Many years ago, when I was in Germany (in medical school), l saw the notes of the piano version of this romance by Beethoven. At that time, l did not associate Beethoven with romance, but just listen to the magic of this romance…
Julia Fischer is the classic musician... Everything seems right, and certainly beautiful, when played by Julia. No exageration at all, The True Reference! Others may dare more in these times of many great violinists, but if Julia recorded a work then it's a must listen... As for Mildenberger he is a superb young conductor that went very well with Julia!
@@MrKlemps I think it is just personal aesthetics, not saying about this performance is good or bad, it depends on what style this person loves. Just like for the same piece, some like Heifetz's more while others like Perlman's but they are both legendary violinists.
Fisher's interpretations were usually not my top favs as well, because they tended to sound too textbook perfect to me. But I noticed that Fischer, like a few other top musicians of her age, are sounding more free with more aggressively shaped phrases as they mature into their prime.
Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and the Gewandhaus Orchester (Leipzig) have been for years my two favorite orchestras, anywhere. I was blessed to hear the Gewandhaus Orchester live many times, but not Kammerphilharmonie Bremen yet; until I can I will continue to seek their music in the internet. Thank you for the stunning performance!
Isn't this the highest degree of harmony among the many Julia Fischer videos? Time and space seem to be wrapped in a very pleasant beauty.
This may at last be the right orchestra for Julia Fischer to round out her already impressive recording archive by at last perpetuating her version of the glorious Beethoven Violin Oncerto, preferably Live and in Audio plus Video format. Maybe with cadenzas by Wolfgang Schneiderhan ?
Wow, didn't realize this is the conductor's channel. Thank you for creating and posting this amazing video! Well done, and we are looking forward to more wonderful videos~
That Beethoven could write such romantic, lyrical music astonishes me. But l played a piano version of this piece when I was in Germany (in medical school).
There was a rule that players could take it off while staying in their playing spot but must put it on to walk around, which makes sense if you think about how they’re passing people.
It's a pleasure Julia.I am a scientist, but a great lover and writer of Mozart's music.I am watching from Italy. You can look at my curriculum in ResearchGate including the editing of my recent book on Mozart With best wishes ,Giacomo
Thank you Mrs. Fisher and Mr. Mildenberger for this fine interpretation. Rarely have I heard this piece by Beethoven performed so full of emotion without exaggeration. Greetings from Antwerp, Belgium
Emotion without exaggeration surely seems to be a great definition for the playing of the very classy Julia Fischer Mr. @juliaan van acker. Mildenberger superb too. Nice comment
@JuliaFischer Dear Julia from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Thank you for your wonderful contributions for us music lovers. Love from our group of music lovers gathered around me. Lots of happiness Maestra
Julia is an Alchemist of the violin, and her performance is off the charts, full of admiration and emotion, and comfortable to the ear and the mind . These great performers and this conductor are the Alchemists of Beethoven music Their performances are orders of magnitude, and beyond description
Cuidate mucho por que the best is yet to come.
Amazing and completely different of other interpretations. She's already said that she would like to play in other way the classical masterpieces. I recommend all of you that like Julia Fischer to watch this interview: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q1m02A4W8lQ.html&ab_channel=Jeff
Beautiful solo, but the orchestration is a little choppy because the tempo is a little too fast especially in the beginning of this recording. It is scored as Adagio Cantabile, which is meant to be slow, in a singing manner, like the Pathetique 2nd movement. This piece is meant, I think, by Beethoven to be at once sorrowful and hopeful. I thing Fischer gets it.
Beautiful piece of Beethoven, and beautifully played for this truly romantic piece! Beethoven Romance in G with double droppings is also a beautiful piece in good contrast with Romance in F.
The sound of the violin is really amazing. It seems to hypnotize and it is impossible not to become fascinated with this impecable and most than beautiful performance of the gifted Artist and orchestra. Beethoven will always make us feel the grandiosity of his noble heart and soul through his most unique music. Perfect in every sense.
