Ratchet straps work as mint spring compressors too btw.. Had to go that way on my vx wagon as my actual spring compressors wouldn't fit in the space I have around the rear springs.. 😣🤣🤣 And the shocks were out too btw..
Gday m8 just a heads up don't judge a gearbox by the colour of the oil but by the amount for shot in the pan the 4l60e is a common box to have a bit of metallic in the bottom of the pan but it looks like your mates gearset has had it and the easiest way to change the springs are to unbolt the shock and also as soon as a box slips its fucked so it's really not worth serving and since it wasn't moving before the chance is that the old filter was clogged btw I love your videos keep up the good work
Should do a massive project car, pick up an old wrecked car such as a Torana, Monaro... just get an old wrecked one and do it up into a drivable car (please don’t trash it by doing a few laps)
Ken Page Cant say 100% without seeing it man but it sounds like it might be starting to slip, so when it changes to those gears it will sort of rev free before it changes and then like lurch into that gear and jolt the car a bit, that's all I can think it would be man (I'm not the best with autos) Cheers haha
GearHeadsOz The crazy part is it doesn't do it all the time. Mainly only when barely gliding. And it's more like too hard a shift. Like a sudden change instead of a gradual one. You don't feel any slip at all. I've also had Tuner Pro on it with an ALDL interface. It shows perfect line pressures and good consistent shift times of less then a second .-.-.
Yeah but if it's not enclosed in a box it hurts your intake temps and power lol just a hot air intake if it just sits in the bay off the end of the intake pipe lol

10 highest without the intercooler, it's jot really going to run toooo lean because the holden ecu is pretty good at learning and if you get the throttle body from mace and the cold air intake box with pod filter, get it a memcal and it will run mint, the issue is with the intake gaskets the restrictive cam lift and the intake air Temps
