It is great when you see kids like him enjoying that much playing guitar. That's the only thing that matters, the rest is envy talking.

Well my friend, practice does make perfect. It seems this youngster has done a lot of it. At his age, being able to read music or not, will probably have as much affect on his career as not being able to drive a car. Talent is a gift... , reading music is a skill that can be taught anytime. Children should play while they are young, and this young man does it very well.

Woot, before I used to think this kid was just really good, but now I know he is amazing, because no one else in the world can play Paganini's 16th caprice so quickly and efficently without any finger or hybrid picking

When I was younger I used to manage to practice around 4 hrs a day and I was pretty good.The finger excercise and callus buildup makes you progressively better as those components begin to take. Now I'm 57 and don't play pro anymore. My hands are stiff and my callouses are weak..and my playing shows. I'm no longer very technically adept but can still make my guitar sing..I've seen many mechanically great guitarists that had little emotion in their playing. Play from the heart, not the mind

Also, I want to see this kid write a song, now THAT would really be something

I agree. You have to have a good ear for music and a burning passion for it as well.

Anton's talent is the best and it has nothing to do with practice it's talent to think with your fingers he is the best EPI!

Anton could give me a lesson or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 even 7 maybe. Well done kid Great

@MrRuggo I personally think he has an amazing ability to compose, well beyond most kids (and adults lol). check out his original song... i can't think of the name but its on youtube. its a really great song

This is good conversation. I think i get where you're coming from. You are totally right in saying the guitar is a tool. Think of it as a paint brush.The finished product has to move you, but doesn't need to be available in a" paint by numbers". B.B. King was once asked if he read .(music), he said "not enough to hurt me any". I don't know of any of my heros who could have written their music out properly. I guess that's why music is a language unto itself.

@Eldaveer Exactly. I bet he's averaging 6+ hours a day on this guitar. Which is good for him, im glad he is so motivated to play and it obviously shows. Now, if he had been playing for a month and could do all this, THEN we would be talking about "talent"

as much as a miracle that this kid is, and an absolute freak of nature with his talents,...there have been many before him as good as him and sadly after the wow..ooooo ohhhhh factor wears off he will be replaced by someone else...over 10 years ive seen virtuoso kids and after a while you dont hear from them...society would rather hear a simple 3 chord progression rather than a million notes a second....thats why steve vai places night clubs and acdc play stadiums...its the way it works

That boy can pop a few strings I say! Behold for he already has a carear at young age! By God he went to Russin School, he went to sleep playing and woke up playing.Now the little bugger gets his own Bogner Amp Im jellous!

I honestly like more when he plays the Pagnnini caprice 16. heheheheh. The Jam well is kind of comun but hey he is only 13 whit more and more practice he can rock on. well that's what im think.
@MrRuggo
@MrRuggo 14 лет назад
@ronnysessum Well, technique isnt everything. Anton has the skills needed to be a virtuoso. If he has the mind to compose great music, well, we shall hear :) I was focusing my comment purely on technique and with correct practicing and dedication , everyone can acuire great technique.

Now if bogner has any sence they will pay him to promote these amps just by playing through them. Little Bugger!

What no one realizes is, that there are ALOT of people like this kid out there. And he is lucky enough to get exposed. This kid doesn't have some natural born gift, he just plays alot more than other people. I just takes practice people, and you can become great. However, most of us being teenagers or adults, our minds aren't as porous as his is, so we wont be picking up things as quickly as he can, but that is about it. Anyone can become as good as him. Im not downing him, he's is good
@Andreorsel
@Andreorsel 6 лет назад
oXGenesisXo, He is an exceptional player, and not everyone can get this good, and i am only talking about the technical skills. To be able to play that Caprice no16 at that speed so clean, with picking almost every note and do those big string skipping jumps with just picking and not hybrid at that speed is veeeery rare! i have not yet seen another player who can do this. Some people just have something extra; faster brain/muscle function, the right hand/finger proprions and flexibilaty etc.... You can't get to his level if you are not born with those extra's and also have the drive to practice that much to take advantage of those extra's. He is just exceptional!

@qap614 Yeah, Yngwie play's humbuckers too, I know, I own them too. But they are voiced as single coils. I just think this kid sounds so crazy good, but the tone is crap considering how gorgeous it could sound with a nice set of single coils through that amp. I'm entitled to my opinion, no reason to call me a fool. I'll take his talent too, just not this tone.

@yjmsrv

ridiculous playing, but I think he would sound ten times better tone-wise though single coils. Those Humbuckers just mud up his tone...

Born this way...what a bunch of crap. The kids parents mst know the way of correct practice. You know, perfect practice makes perfect technique. Its all work, no talent.
