How badass do you have to be to ride a motorcycle about 60 mph with no helmet listening to bo diddley and almost running a snake over. A real fucking badass.
Well the snake is foreshadowing later he takes Ritchie to Mexico and an old man tells him life is a snake crawling out of it's own skin and gives him a necklace with the rattle tails to ward off bad dreams.
Classic rock and roll, chopper bikes, beautiful ladies, lots of marijuana and beer, sunny southern landscapes... HUMMM FUCKING BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!... MUSIC FOR MY EARS... (at my 41 years old) GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
"I got a tombstone hand and a graveyard mind, Just 22 and I don't mind dyin. Who the hell comes up with this? Bo Diddley that's who. You have to be an absolute badass mother f'er to come up with lyrics like this.
I'll never Forget seeing this opening scene when I was only 12 years old and I saw Esai Morales looking Badass on an Indian Motorcycle with the new version of Bo Diddley's "Who Do You Love"... It was Mesmerizing to Me and at 12 years old I just knew... LOL that I wanted to Be him! Great Movie!
The same thing with him and Jimmy Smits on My Family. It's funny how Latinos are so similar and relate to each other. No matter how distant they think they are.
It makes you wonder if Richie's older brother was really like this - and makes you really hope he was. Lou Diamond is good as Ritchie in this, his first role, but its Esai that makes this film work, which is why he has top billing. Riding in on that chopper, that killer song playing, the baddest mutha to wear that jacket since the Terminator, one of the best movies entrances and openings ever. They really don't make them like this anymore.
I remember the day I got my 2008 Harley Davidson Fatboy the second I rode out of the dealership with my new bike, this is the first song I played riding home.
The bike was actually an old Sportster with an Indian gas tank. Indian’s are way more expensive so they probably just went with a sporty mocked out to look like an Indian because it was waaay cheaper
Those were the good old days I was a migrant worker drove all the way from Texas to Oregon I remember passing through California and see the Hollywood sign in top of the hill
I walk forty-seven miles of barbed wire I use a cobra snake for a necktie I got a brand new house on the roadside Made from rattlesnake hide I got a brand new chimney made on top Made out of a human skull Now come on take a walk with me, Arlene And tell me, who do you love?
Esai Morales was and has been one of the sexiest men i have ever seen.Hes never married and hss no children.Damn this was sich a good movie.Ive seen it over50x.Whew crushing hard on latino men.
Um he's been with the same woman (Elvimar Silva) for quite some time and in 2010 they had a daughter named Mariana. I didn't look for any other kids but I'm sure he's slipped one or two more past the goalie over the years
My favorite movie I think. With the exception of domestic violence I love the character Bob. “My old man wasn’t around when I was born; Why should I be.”
Raymond Campbell Yeah they basically mocked the Sportster out to look like an Indian. Was probably waaay cheaper than buying an actual one for the movie haha
Esa Morales love the Mexican people! Yes!!! I found out he's born and raised in Brooklyn, que Viva Puerto Rico!!! Y que Viva Mexico, sincere, Admirable 😇 Puerto Rican,Australian of Puerto Rico.......
DEATHWOLF 771 no it is not I can tell you that for sure cuz I am a greaser greasers and bikers are similar but also have very different things about them
DEATHWOLF 771 yes but actually no earliest you could date greasers back was 1947 with the Hollister incident and they were more bikers than greasers yes a lot of greasers were in biker clubs and gangs but a lot of them in the 50s were also just in regular clubs and didn’t ride motorcycles so greasers and bikers are not the same
Sweet ride. Nice scene. Funny thing is if you wear sunglasses and ride your eyes will water up like Niagara Falls. But hey who pays attention to the details ?
