For those who wonder "how does this sound like La Campanella at all". La Campanella is actually the third movement of Paganini's Concerto 2 which sounds completely different from Liszt's La Campanella, the melody at 1:52 is actually the third movement of Paganini's concerto 1.

I am absolutely impressed by your interpretation. Only few people know about exist this version. In my opinion, it is technically much more difficult due to high tempo than S. 141, but even fewer people know that there are still more difficult version than this. It's Grande Fantaisie de Bravoure Sur La Clochette, which is rather a variation on that piece but is technically unattainable for many pianists. It is really rare to find a good interpretation of this piece on RU-vid. You did a wonderful job Traum!

And it's not the first version; the initial one was composed in 1832, lasting 15 minutes, and is the original piece. He created this version in 1838 because he wanted someone else to perform his composition. I love how this piece sounds on your instrument, it has such crisp tones which works rather well with this piece. I am very much so fonding over the other themes in this piece that arent explored in the later version.

You did it, this is insane! I immediately pressed the notification as soon as I saw it. Edit: I have finished watching, this was a jaw-dropping performance! You nailed even the difficult parts.

This somehow sounds more Paganini than Liszt in this iteration unlike in the more well known version where there's more of Liszt's style. The same virtuosity and extravagance but less dynamic and more colorful. Fantastic portrayal!

Insane how you already learned this since the last video. Really great performance 👍👍 I find it interesting how this version is so different from the later revamped version. It's basically two different pieces.

It's clearly animated. I bet all the commenters who believe it's real also believe that Remy from the movie 'Ratatouille" was a real rat.

I am a concert pianist of many years and hands down my favorite part of this was watching you do that hell yes fist pull at the end. That response was all I needed to see the struggle that you had with this piece and you came out on top and nothing brings me greater joy than watching others grow and be thrilled. I look forward to being able to listen to you continue to "tear it up" like "a boss" in the days to come.

As always Traum does not fail to impress with his upload quality and interpretation. I find it absolutely astonishing that you can play such technically demanding pieces while never letting your dynamics suffer. Bravo Sir. Bravo.
