Great question, is it realistic? Yes. Is it advisable? Maybe not. LA can be a little ruthless with the expectations on designers, which is fine if you are being compensated for your hard work. I feel like LA agencies hire temps and freelancers out of state to cut cost, so you may fall victim to that… also, dont limit yourself, there are plenty of agencies and companies out there promoting remote work. Prioritize growth, and experience as you get back into it bro, and then leverage yourself into a vetted position in a location you prefer and maybe see yourself moving into permanently… thats my advice, take it as you like and thank you for the support and question! :)

Patreon is not algorithmically driven, so it is difficult to determine what others may want from you. I suggest keeping it something you can make exclusive, but also stay consistent about. For digital artists and designers this may be tutorial videos, work files, free assets or video process. NSFW art is popular but I would not advise it unless you can keep up with demand. Hope this helps :)
