La Dolce Vita (1960) ◆ A Brief Review 

Overall , I like your description of Federico Fellini's film masterpiece LA DOLCE VITA, but you incorrectly described Marcello Mastroianni's character as a "Paparazzi" , he's a newpaper writer who appears to work for the Italian tabloid ,he does hang around wirh an actual "paparazzi ", played by Italian actor Walter Santesso,and in fact this film added this word to the lexicon. Also , the woman he's living with "Emma" portrayed by French actress Yvonne Furneaux , is not his "wife", but his girl friend. You failed to mention the beautiful music score written by the great Nino Rota and the dramatic cinematography by Otello Martelli ( although alot of the film was shot on sets in Cinemacitta, one gets the feeling of actually being in the vibrate center of Rome on the Via Venito ), the imanagative production design by Leo Catozzo and the stylish costumes designed by Piero Gherardi ( who could forget Anita Ekberg's remarkable dress). LA DOLCE VITA is one of my favorite films and I am glad to see that it is being shown to a new generation of film lovers.

You have a very soothing accent. What happened at the end when she says "listen?" Did life around them freeze up? Very beautiful scene.
