I left in 1986. Nothing has changed, not even the house colors along the roads-except the devil Walmart has moved in. Which means classmates who's families had businesses since the 1880's went bust. The Observer used to be delivered 6 days a week. I know that there was a great hoopla when McDonald's came in 1984. As far as I can tell, it's still a safe bet to raise kids there. Except teach them to avoid alcohol, pot and unprotected baby making.
