The phenomenal acoustic properties of the baroque lute, particularly when matched as they are here with complimentary surroundings, are legend. And beautiful compositions such as this in the hands of such an accomplished and sensitive artist cannot fail to delight.
@@tomaszmichalak7680 a perfect recording Tomasz, how many microphones have you used ? I know is stereo, but sometimes we use 4, 6 , even 8 microphones for 1 guitar or theorbe, or lute..Klaudyna is AMAZING ! and the digital recording is amazing too. Bravo !
@@tatalito There were some other mics engaged, but what you hear is just a pair of Brüel & Kjaer 4007 130V omni vintage (70's) mics going to custom made clean preamp and RME UFXII interface. Cheers :)
You always play with a particular grace and perfection, and the expression on your face accompanies the music significantly, but in this case you would have needed a 11 course French lute. The sound of the French lute is slightly more crystalline...
🍀🍀🍀 Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
Bravo for your interpretation of this superb piece of Mouton. Such a great composer… on what label will be released your coming album ? I’d love to be able to get it. Merci for sharing…!
The lute sound of your BWV 995 recording is the most spectacular I've ever heared. It's large body combined with a yew-mould(?) make it sound dark but crisp. After which model is it build?
I'm happy to hear that! :) The lute was built after Hans Burkholtzer, yew at the back. Bach was recorded in a room with a quite strong reverb, using much wider range of bass strings, with the 13th course tuned as G. That makes the sound darker and deeper I think.
@@klaudynazonierek3598 Indeed, interesting! In this video you might see what I meant about nails: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9kY7x8abMfk.html
