I purchased this yesterday afterrnoon ..and i sprayed some on my pulse points at around 11pm last night ! And now its 9pm i could still smell the fragrance on my wrist!!! Amazing scent. It dryed down to a smooth chocolate smell A+++ i actually blind bought this after watchin your review
With all the hype this fragrance got or is getting, I'm surprise you rated it 8/10. But in your video on D&G The One, you gave it a 9/10. Jeremy made it sound like this is the perfect fragrance ever.
I've bought the YSL recently and this is an amazing scent. I get tons of compliments especially from females. i can't wait for to run out and buy a new bottle. Im in the service industry and i meet about 100 to 120 people a day they love this fragrance. i would recommend this for those who really wanna smell masculine. hope you all like this. definately a chick magnet.
Tried it at a sephora like 3 months ago, thought it was OK. Went back a month later, but sprayed it on myself. Loved it. You definitely need to try it twice, in my opinion. Bought a bottle 2 weeks ago and I would spray it on at about 7 p.m and would wake up the next morning still smelling it. 9/10
No argument here! I completely agree with you regarding the fact that a fragrance can be worn at anytime by anyone. I just try to "suggest" best application. Vintage fragrances are great and I do enjoy them! I do not actively collect them mainly because I don't like dealing with Ebay/Auction sites. However they do have their place
Got this and Libre in a gift set earlier this year and at first, I loved Libre and didn't really La Nuit because to me it smelled a lot like L'Homme. Now I like this a lot and haven't even messed with the Libre in a while .
It means ''The Night of the Man'', my friend. I'm Portuguese and French is still a bit far from my language in some cases (although both are latin based) but this isn't one of that situations. Just a detail! Great review, keep them coming
This is the feeling I get out of it : very laid back rich guy, gives me the vibe of the prohibition era, like a gangster would wear something like this, while wearing a custom made fedora. for some reason I also get the feeling of a barbershop, probably because of the powder notes. If you want to feel like the Great Gatsby, wear this cologne, lol
I finally after three years looking for this in my country just got this couple days ago with the shave and bath creams too!! and i must admit it's a very amazing smell really different even tho to me kinda smells like DG the one, but sweeter and more woody. 6/5 All the way!

Believe it or not, the Le Parfume notes are completely different to those of the EDT. The EDT notes are: Top notes. Cardamom, Middle notes. Bergamot, Virginia Cedar, Lavender. Base notes. Vetiver, Caraway. Just thought I would let you know. Really enjoy your videos man, cheers.
Try Layering it with "coconut lime verbina and /or perry ellis "M" Really creates a smooth nice scent for daytime..Great Scent By itself ! i feel it is the best scent ever created.
Today, Sept. 9th, 2017, I smelled it for the first time. It ist great. Noble, light, a bit manly. And by far not as powdery as Luna Rossa Sports by Prada.
Wow you spray your head? I don't think I would ever spray my hair with a fragrance, but someone with a shaved head I guess it could be a good idea! Great reviews!!
I have tried out most of the Canali fragrances (excluding Summer Nights). Black Diamond is one of my favorite fragrances ever, scent wise absolutely amazing, reminiscent of John Varvatos Vintage. The original is also amazingly nice, but the issue with all Canali Scents is that the longevity is really poor.
This is probably kind of random, but compared to some other reviewer's i appreciate your intro. I am not sure why they go from extremely loud music to extremely quiet dialog. Kind of random but it just bother's me i have to constantly adjust my audio listening to other's review's.
I like this scent but I would not refer to it as a masculine scent. Masculine for me is Drakkar Noir, Givenchy Gentlemen, Bois du Portugal. Those are undoubtedly, masculine fragrances. La Nuit is an excellent clubbing scent.
Hmm I have a 6.7oz bottle that was made 7/14. I heard there was oakmoss in the scent and due to the ban that caused the reformulation in 2015 which did weaken the scent a bit more. I smelled the 2015 today and while they do smell similar it doesn't last anywhere near as long as 2014 or earlier bottles sadly. Would I still wear the 2015? Absolutely! But you might need an atomizer to refresh at work after 6~ hours or so, but mileage varies on your skin.
I thoroughly enjoy watching reviews that you make for all these different types of cologne. however... to you, what is your favorite cologne in the whole entire world? Like you can't live without it. my favorite of all time is Polo black it smells really nice on me
Hey great video! La nuit de lhomme has been reformulated twice. Do you have the vintage or first formulation? the vintage has a hollow cap and the bottle is larger. If you are uncertain you can watch fragboy stewies video on the topic, he has the first and the second formulation. Jeremy fragrance also made a video regarding this, he has the vintage and first formulation. Thank you!
+dracdoc Apparently first reformulation was in 2011, second was in 2013, third was in the middle of 2015. You probably had a first reformulation at the time of this video judging by the bottom of your cap. According to two other reviewers there is almost no difference between 2009-2012 formulations, so yours is good. 2013 - present day is when this cologne goes to shit.
Another one i love lol, not owned a bottle yet, just a decant but will be purchasing the 200ml for sure when i can find it at a decent price, its Very popular in my neck of the woods, maybe too popular, but i like it so im gonna buy it. Lovin the reviews bud, keep it up :~)
cool yeah they are so F'in hard to find, longevity isnt too important as all day scents can give me a headache or i just get sick of smelling it. So it might be right up my alley. thanks :)

Not sure if you've heard this getting compared to Dior Intense before but do you see the reason behind this? Is it the "powdery", "feminine", and maybe the hint of lavender?

elGonzk I'm with ya. I tried it and I felt it was too old lady for me. My wife said that I smelled like a woman that we know who wears way too much perfume. There are so many people who love it but not me or my wife. I think it smells like something a woman would wear in to a black tie event in 1990.
James Miller I totally get your impression about this one, but a couple weeks ago I tried it again and it was much more weareable than before, I'm sure it was due to over applying it. It still leans into the trend of masculine/old femme started by Dior Homme I believe, it's interesting and intriguing somehow but I still prefer the original L'Homme.
Doc, will you be reviewing YSL La nuit Del'homme intense ? Would be released on 24 August I guess . After the refomulataion , I'm skeptical about the longevity and projection for the original version .
Hi man:), I have a question, um I got me this cologne like 5 months ago....And I fell in real love with it... I've been wearing it that whole period of time & got lots of compliments & stuff, but the problem is now whenever I buy a new cologne I regret it because it's never as good... I bought Allure, Dolce & Gabbana, & many others & spent lots of money & I regretted all of them & just gave 'em to friends & people...So, in your opinion, is it okay if I wear only LA NDL all the time...Or would it give a bad impression like that I don't change, i'm repetitve & predictable? If so, do you know any other colognes that have kind of the same style of LA NDL (I mean that fruity vanilla sweet & dark scent at the same time)
Can you please review a david beckham fragrance (preferably beckham instinct sport). and maybe a top ten colognes for highschoolers. If it is too much to ask then thats fine but it would help me.

Love this scent but I feel it does not project well or last more than 3 or 4 hours. I spray 3 times when applying. Am I not applying enough? I don't want to over apply. Again really love this scent need advice.

I bought it a couple days ago and noticed that the top is a bit loose. It clicks in but I can move it sideways. Not really a big deal, just wondering if thats normal? Cheers :)
I went to my nearest fragrance store to have this sprayed onto a test strip. I gave a blind test to my gf and she thought I was buying her a female cologne. She doesn't hate it but she can't see men wearing this...
+Luis Castillo I have both. I personally love Euphoria but La Nuit is the popular one if you check out Basenotes reviews. My La Nuit is the EDT and its barely perceptible; I know people get around this by doubling the spray count. Buy both, but with Nuit you must get the EDP version.
The problem is La nuit de lhomme now has been reformulated. It smells the same but does not last long, not project well anymore. I'm considering to buy a fragrance - A*men rubber flask or the reformulated La nuit de lhomme? Which is good for me? Pls help!!!
avoid la nuit de l'homme. i bought it and the next day i found out about the reformulation. it smells amazing one of the best fragrances. But the projection is shit en performance horrible. lasts maybe an hour or 2 max. will last longer on clothes tho, but it certainly whont project. AVOID.
Awesome review Doc. I tried it once and really liked it. Just ordered 60ml bottle. Do you have any info on the reformulated version? I hope that it is going to last and project well. When I tried it, I got about 2 hours projection on my hand which is not very good considering it's quite high end juice. i love the smell, so i bought one a few days ago. it is very weak. the smell is weak and had to spray like 20 time. the juice probably reformulated or i got a fake bottle. payed $70 for my bottle
