Never actually went in, and a lot of negative comments here, but what I see is a lot of heart and soul! The music alone in typical PR fashion..was worth it watching. Great 👍 video
I just left Puerto Rico this morning, last night I was at La Perla with my peoples it was a good vibe with la reggeton and bachata playing but the scenery vibe definetly made me get like I was in the trenches I know I was lol, then the SRT came with big ass guns around 12 AM shutting shit down, when they come they start yelling AGUA and all the sellers and stuff scatter like crazy😂😂😂it’s so funny, but te amo Puerto Rico I honestly want to move there or republica dominicana
My grandparents live in Arroyo and i used to visit them every summer..... I have no idea how La Perla turned into THIS. And if the govt is behind this shame on them bc this was a neighborhood. With peoples homes and family’s.... if this change was made without the agreement of the people living there then this is disgusting. In sure the Govt realized how highly known the area is and decided to rip it from them snd profit. Bc before it was filled w extreme poverty and awful crimes, a lot if homeless and addicts and sellers. This is so bizzare to me
@@cosmiccoco6889 it’s still a neighborhood/community. The residents own a lot of the little restaurants/food stands.. so they welcome it. Be on the lookout for my documentary! www.laperladocumentary.com
Luis Fonsi changed La Perla😂 with that Billion views video the world went mad crazy about La Perla. Just like the Joker stairs in NY, no one gave a damn about those stairs until the Joker movie came out. 🤑
True exclusives: My wife and I have been to Puerto Rico three times while on cruises, we have seen La Perla from outside the wall but would like to take a walk thru. We have heard one big rule is no cameras which is ok with us, obviously this was a festival of some sort and it was allowed in the area. Would it be best to offer someone in La Perla $10.00 or so to guide us through or just go on our own ? Thank you.
