Hello Mich! Just like you, I tried several products and mix active ingredients for treating acne. In this moment, I think I found the perfect combo for that purpose, for my skin, but I hope it can help you too. Day 1 - Morning 1° - Cerave Oil Cleanser 2° - Cerave Blemish Control Cleanser 3° - Mix of: Cerave Moisturizer Lotion + Pea size of Azeleic Acid 20% 4° - Sunscreen Day 1 - Night 1° - Cerave Oil Cleanser 2° - Cerave Moisturizer Lotion 3° - 2x Pea Size Azeleic Acid 20% Day 2 - Morning 1° - Cerave Oil Cleanser 2° - Cerave Blemish Control Cleanser 3° - Mix of: Cerave Moisturizer Lotion + Pea size of Azeleic Acid 20% 4° - Sunscreen Day 2 - Night 1° - Cerave Oil Cleanser 2° - Cerave Moisturizer Lotion 3° - 2x Pea Size Tretinoin 0,05% And keep switching between this 2 routines. If I feel that my skin it's still recovering from the Azeleic Acid or Tretinoin from the night, I skip the Azeleic Acid from the Morning, allowing the skin to rest and recover, and use active ingredients just on night time. Usually I don't use active ingredients 1 day a week, and use Avene Cicalfate to recover, it's similar to that one from La Roche Posay. I will try that one 😉 I hope that this suggestion can help you, and your followers somehow. Hug from Portugal, have a nice day ✨
Obrigado for such a detailed comment on your skincare routine! It's great that you're able to listen to your skin's needs and have a nice system in place ☺️

Yes, if you look at the comment above, it's just the updated version that includes Tribioma, a prebiotic complex. I personally like it better than the original. If you don't do well with ingredients like that, best to return it!
@@michxmash thnku fr replying.....i used this product bt ifeel nothing suits me now...my skin barrier has completely damaged ...i wana die...i m hopeless now
I just checked my local pharmacy, and the box is taped. Perhaps you should email customer service from where you ordered online to see if they opened the box to check if the product was correct.
Sorry, I don't really go out of my way to purchase solely "fungal acne safe" products so I am not sure. Try using an ingredient analyzer site like skincarisma to find out!
Hey!:) I am always confused with this balm, I thought it is very thick and well balmy:)) And then I thought for acne prone skin only light moisturizers are suitable? I was researching as I am looking for something to heal already popped pimple, I do find that some dont disappear unless I pop them (I do them really professionally with everything sterilized and it's on my chest), however, they just dont heal after , or even if i dont pop they dont heal... I read that this could be applied after, do you think it would be suitable to apply on popped zits? For example , popped, sterilized and maybe after an hour so that the wound is not open? Or maybe you know anything that can help with healing the popped pimple?:) thank yoU!
I haven't tried it on old hyperpigmentation, I just know that when I use it on active acne it helps prevent it! I barely think of post-acne red marks anymore.
Hi Michelle, your videos have been helping me, i too have dehydrated leaning oily skin. I had the same issue of a burning sensation with the original balm. I purchased it with the intention of being the second cream for the tretinoin sandwich. But it made the burning worse... I will order this new formulation to the states and see how it works!
I also appreciate how u promote being intentional with our purchases, and simplifying things. Treating our skin can bring us into deep rabbit holes with wasted time and money.
That was the same reaction I had, my skin felt itchy and was burning , I stopped using it for a while and only did the niacimide it helped calm my skin. Will try it again .
