Wanting the car so bad. The cause of crime. He wanted the car so bad, he shot Mike for it. He stuffed Mike in the trunk, not knowing what else to do with Mike. The car was so fast he could not help but speed 20 miles over the limit with Mike in the trunk when he got pulled over. He got 50 years in jail after the cops found Mike in the trunk. Victim of circumstances, product of the environment he could not help but want the car so bad.

Good job officer. Remained calm, professional and didn't allow your emotions act without the benefit of your intellect. However, when collecting and bagging items that could be possibly contain blood or evidence you must ALWAYS wear gloves in order to not contaminate the evidence. You read him his Miranda rights, he confessed to "hitting the kid" so that's an confession no matter how you look at it. LOCK HIM UP, throw away the key. It's a damn shame. A momma lost her young child over probably some stupid shit, and an 18yr old barley wet behind his ears life is over! Again probably over some dumb ass shit

Ya'll are missing the bigger picture here. I'm seeing a lot of 'he wasted time' and 'he should've just popped the trunk' and 'why didn't he just search the car in the first place.... Not that simple. First of all, it's not the kid's vehicle to give permission, and the cop was pretty sure of that from the get-go. But that's not what he was after. He HAD probably cause. He had probable cause with the drugs. He had probable cause with the car belonging to the missing kid. That's not what he was looking for. He wasn't after the CAR, he was after the KID. Kid didn't have ID, didn't know where he lived, and the bullet holes pretty much sinched it. I noticed those when he first walked up to the car. I was like Oh boy...here we go. That's always a bad sign. Those were close and FRESH. Anyone who knows anything about ballistics can glance at it and tell you that. They are in LA. LA is humid swampland. After a few days, those would've rusted over. So, those were REAL fresh. He was TRYING to get this kid to cough up information. You noticed he put the kid on the front of his car and left it open while he LOUDLY made phone calls. The kid could hear EVERY word he was saying. He WANTED that kid to know he was closing in. Do you know what is worse than the actual shoe dropping? ANTICIPATION AND FEAR. The WAITING for that other shoe to drop will drive a person to the brink and that's what he was doing. But he was doing it in a calm, collected manner. He wasn't stupid. He KNEW that kid was guilty as sin, and he KNEW that there was SOMETHING in that car, but when he found it, the kid was going to clam up. He just eventually gave up on the kid coughing it up on his own and dropped the shoe, but it was a good tactic, and it does work. I've seen it. People get real nervous hearing that you're closing in on them, and they spill their guts. That's what he was aiming for, but this kid...he was either too high to realize what was happening, or just didn't have a conscience to poke at. I truly hope it was the former, because the latter can't be saved.

Another boy named Cameron Powe shot Robinson during an armed robbery and both Mitchell and Powe loaded his body in the car. Mitchell was going to leave his car and the body in a random spot but he got pulled over on his way to dump them. It’s such a sad world. 2 young men threw the lives away. Mitchell 18 and Powe was 19. And of course tragically Robinson lost his life at 23. Such a sad day

Mitchell is incredibly cool until the body is discovered. Mitchell obviously is a very dangerous individual! He ratted on his accomplice and later recanted his story due to fear of repercussions in jail. The Police did a great job!!! Missing person who was last seen driving that car. Plus 3 bullet holes! Speeding- check! Smell of marijuana- check! Deflecting question- check! Inconsistent answers- check!

I'd like to take a moment to note that in spite of the officer finding a dead body in the trunk, the young man was not abused, slammed, dragged, shot, tackled by any cops, or even demeaned. Why is this? Because, aside from lying, he remained respectful and compliant during the whole stop. Yeah, I know there's some bad egg cops out there, but I also believe most of that crap out there starts because the person fails to remain respectful and compliant. That guy, murderer that he is, is a perfect example of how to behave when stopped by police, or since I'm no expert, how I believe people should behave during such an event. Yes sir, no sir, follows orders, doesn't resist, and waaLA....he is in no way harmed. No magic there, just cause and effect.
