I remember during that time period, she would go to the clubs dressed up as a guy. Folks who saw her thought it was MJ & It was reported on blogs that Michael was spotted clubbing. I used to have a picture of Latoya dressed up when she was arriving at one, I kid you not. . . She looked just like Rene Elizondo ( Janet's Ex ) I hate that this era never took off & was placed on the back burner. I think this would've been Latoya's best era & the public would've embraced Latoya. All the controversy with Janet's superbowl, Michael's 2003 allegations, Latoya would've been looked at with all eyes being shocked that she was coming out with a good album , fresh look, and more reserved. That would put people in a mind twist. The first half of this interview was good, but wtf at the 2nd half with the singer named " Wing " & the guy who told his sister to drink toilet water, and of course the MJ questions.
Dope…who knew she was on Graham Norton? Don’t know why she didn’t seize this major media opportunity to perform “Just Wanna Dance” to give her comeback single international exposure?
It’s a shame this album was never released! I have the 2006 promo cd and the songs are excellent! The 6 song EP doesn’t give justice to it, it’s ridiculous that they didn’t release the entire album at least digitally…
Some of the jokes aged terribly- like making fun of Wing. That wouldn’t fly today. She didn’t even sound that bad- just singing the wrong songs not meant for her voice. It’s mean spirited to mock & humiliate on national tv. Especially something they take seriously.
