Any move is worrisome, but more so to the other side of the US. Have you thought of renting a Uhaul and drive there, or hiring a company to deliver your things? We hired a company, paid full price before delivery and didn’t get our things until 2 weeks later. Hoping it’d get there quicker, but all there words meant nothing. Plus no matter how careful I was at packing they broke dishes, and fragile items. also, had boxes to face upwards and our things were upside down and in all directions. We did pack a few clothes, shoes and certain items expecting that we’d receive our things within the week but that didn’t happen.
