Jewel of Quebec! You are a national treasure! This song of the young courier de bois and his love of the commandant's daughter makes my soul sing! Away to the river we go! J'adore from Washington, DC!
Quelle ambiance savent mettre nos cousins Québécois......super !
Can someone please translate what the song is about? Just want to know what he's singing about you don't have to translate the whole song :). I like this song, but I don't understand :(.
Beautiful , what did you ? Beautiful , what did you ? What do you moan ? My brother gallant if you knew who I am the daughter My brother gallant if you knew who I am the daughter I am the daughter of the executioner, the executioner of the city On the waterfront , on board the ship On the river On the waterfront , on board the ship On the edge of the Gatineau
Alexandre Ouellette Wow tyvm! I've been wanting to know the lyrics for this song for about a year now, but no one would help me :(. I really like the sound on this song :) You made my day thanks! Love French Canadian music :D
This is a story about a young woman would go on a ship and the owner ask - who is your father... And the woman won't revealed how are her father. First answer, I'm the daughter of the executioner of the town. And, in the end of the song, the right story is, the woman is the daughter of a rich man of the town. Nobody would a poor woman and every one would a rich woman...
