Oooh my gosh they are just coming out with newer and newer way to put weave in.. I am speechless. If I wear weave it's probably gonna box braids and that's about it!
Is it better to sew it the weft in vs. just using a weft and attaching it with only a link and no string? Trying to figure out what is better for fine hair.

When i saw this way of doing it before close up they did run the thread through the crimp bead too.. and sew in the hair.. then on to the next one.. but I dont think he is doing that in this one since he puts all the crimp beads in first. interesting.. :)

i just have a question...so once you apply the links, does the clients natural hair just hang down? Does it stick out through the extensions? Or do you apply enough wefts so that the natural hair doesn't poke through? This is a great technique!
Shaniceforwhat I’ve spent so much money on tape ins went to three high end salons end results hair had to be cut from 14 inches to a pixie I bought two wigs five hundred later from a wig shop I don’t like them either no one around here knows how to blend extensions always looked like Rapunzel or had a mullet lol
Also was told they wouldn’t do weaves on Caucasian hair idk why my hair is thick or the top is they clipped the sides in back it’s been alittle over a month so it’s about an inch on sides and back the wigs I bought are lace front mono part but I’m use to having bangs

Bhad Annie I think it may just be easier on European hair? Maybe more gentle? I've tried a see in with my hair braided and I almost died and only had it in a week!

Excellent. I remember doing this YEARS ago, lol. At that time, it was called Malaysian weave technique. How things have changed, lol. I would also like to add that this technique is truly for just temporary weaves (special occasions). It doesn't last since the links can become loose due to the weight of the weave and the manipulation of doing your hair (combing, brushing, etc). I think clipins are much better actually than this. This technique doesnt hold up that long. Maybe for two weeks (from my experience when I had chemically relaxed hair).
