Yes Musisi thank you for those lessons. I will be going to Uganda too but I don't expect to meet Barbarians. I have lived in Uganda for 51 years and now making 8 years in USA 🇺🇸.

@rosahtvug4513 I am doubting so. Soldiers are the most disciplined humans, especially Americans Probably, there was miss communication between the 2 parties.
I don't think a sane person would detain anyone for no good reason, how i wish we could get to hear from the immigration officer (s) so as to get a balanced story.... Otherwise bringing up tribalism is barbaric in such a case, we are all humans and one people.... We should desist from utterances that derail us into tribalism. Things in Ug aren't perfect just like elsewhere, the US notwithstanding. As a learnt person (Lt Col), i believe he has a good reason to complain about his encounter with the personnel in question....i also would rather he do us good by being open enough about the reason he got detained and not simply paint a nasty picture of this kind... One Ug! one people! one nation! We all must stand for peace and love for all!....
He's a liar he was so abusive and arrogant to officers at the airport, he had refused to bring out his passport officers have evidence. Of his abusive language just painting a bad picture for immigration
Any leader who holds VVIP must know these things happen, in most of my time at the airport i have never wished to go back... This calls for true governance system... Thanks Colonel for wishel blowing we are suffocating silently
Am an Ugandan but right now am I’m serving in Air Force for 29 years I’m hiding my names for security reasons. My husband Al’s serving in Air Force for 45 years now My husband became Lf major general in Air Force. But please Mr mission with due respect don’t explain too much secret about us army in Uganda please 🙏 thank you 🙏
You said > in America a serving officer doesn't get involved in politics >> the same with Uganda >> but but are you getting involved in partisan in Uganda???? What is basically you're massage!!!
@@Navyguy2023 No. YOU wouldn't understand. You're just trying to sound intelligent and belittle Reservists. But you're speaking out of your ass. IF you did UNDERSTAND, you would know that a huge percentage of Service Members in "Operation Iraqi Freedom" and elsewhere, wete Reservists and National Guardsmen. Not only "Active Duty" members were deployed. By the way, I was in "Operation Iraqi Freedom". Second, it is not a "privilege" to be in the U.S. Military- which apparently you think it is, and anyone who isn't lacks "understanding". Typical Navy.
@PhilipAlinaffe-gq1lf you must be a reservist, and this rubbed you in a bad way but I see this alot. Reservist do what they do (Part time) but yall walk around like y'all full time. It's 2 different groups and different funding that's a fact soldier.
This Lt. Col. is fool of arrogancy. That he normally passes from vip section but now said let me pass there and see. You had a mission to cause chaos. You no more important than other people. I have been with your seniors Colonels, Generals from US. Navy, Army, Marines, etc but they are so polite and respectful. You talk as a politician! You disgraced yourself alone.

@@muyindaedgar7683 he talked like he is a superior,we have been hire in Uganda and we are ugandans we don't want to see Libya, syria, Iraq, afhaganistan, palastine in Uganda like how his America doing to innocent people
Lt Col, you are NOT above the law because you're an American as many Americans think when you come to Uganda. Anyway, the way you behaved is the same way some Updf officers behave. By obtaining American citizenship you seized to be a Ugandan according to the Ugandan constitution. And that is why they make you apply for dual nationality. Immigration should be followed by everybody if it's was a UPDF officer in the USA going on waving a Ugandan passport he would have ended up in migration jail. Stop showing off. Bamukwatta muddu muyige empisa
I hope you are commenting with knowledge on the matter. There should be no reason to make someone's life hard under any circumstances. Systems are not without exceptions. Why was he allowed after? If he has always gone thru VIP without issues, why would issues arise this time round?
@@akandwanahoraymond7581 Ssebo I don’t know your understanding of Luganda language secondly your understanding of VIP and lastly if you listened to the speech of Lt col. in his speech the Lt Col is talking about being held for 3hrs and being told because he was making noise (bamumalamu akajanja) I understand it’s annoying being held for long or when the migration queue is slow or long as you are already tired which sometimes led to be rude to the immigration officers but they only do their job regardless of the passport you hold or your title/ professional and everyone is asked different questions which have to be answered regardless of who you know. So please Lt Col just misbehaved Entebbe airport is not his work place he would have followed the instructions. He wouldn’t have behaved that way if he was entering an army facility/barracks. You talked about VIP in the video the Lt Col doesn’t mention anything about it however he talked about calling someone in USA maybe he called a friend at the High Commission called around to be helped a topical of not used to be told off but which common in Uganda. You may be used to such treatment or behaviour because you might have a relative who is army or a boss somewhere but it’s not the normal way to do things. VIP lounge is used by VIP who are VIP not freinds or relatives of VIP. No need to use DO YOU KNOW ME line at migration calling a friend above. I find hard a professor to behave like a common man this is the same as man holding rank of Lt Col in USA army behaving like a UPdf General. There is video clip going on social media when the Lt col is apologising for his behaviour on that day.
@@ismamuwonge7816 in the US, service men and veterans tend to be entitled because the system gives them wide berth everywhere. It would be unfortunate if he brought that entitlement to the airport and refused to present something that he was asked to. But I still don't see a matter that would warrant 3 hours wait (now I suspect it may be exaggerated). I have had my run ins with security and immigration officials but it's always easy to resolve once we realize everyone is trying to get about their day. The way he mentions the kajanja part is more satirical than factual. He seems to be making light of the moment having prevailed. Again, what could a man do that is heinous enough to warrant a threat of deportation from his country of birth? I suspect we know so little about this matter .. he could be a funder of opposition like the dr kiyingis. Those are known by intelligence. In which case, we should just shut up and let the monkeys do their dance 😊
@@akandwanahoraymond7581 A part of comment is right in US servicemen carry much respect BUT not all over the world. Somebody of such rank should know that and Uganda is NNOT America. Secondly if you acquire a 2nd Nationality you become dual citizen which means that your country of birth can strip you that citizenship of birth (some countries do) Example is Uganda once you receive a citizenship of another country you No a longer Ugandan until you apply for Ugandan citizenship. Then the Lt Col by law he is a foreigner in Uganda hence it’s the reason why he applied for the visa to Uganda and having a visa is not automatic entry to the hosting country that the immigration officers and immigration desk are there? The 3rd point the immigration can hold you as long as they clear why you are there and what is your intention for the visit. He was like that they didn’t put him in detention But it’s good that later he swallowed his pride and apologise to the Junior staff, he mistreated No need for such behaviour my friend no need to start ordering people around as if your the boss just write a complain or ask if you can speak to the manager simple other Ffe gye tubela tukola bwe tutti my friend very country has its culture. Another thing he may not be happy with what is going on at home but those people are not responsible for the situation coming from the tribe in power doesn’t necessarily mean you agree with what is happening.People who lives or lived abroad tend to believe that they will be treated differently from the rest of the population. Do you think a muzungu would have b behaved in the same way? LET US RESPECT EACH OTHER AND TREAT ONE OTHER AS WE MAY WISH TO BE TREATED. It’s sad that the former Katikiro can’t withdraw his speech. Mind you the guy is from twalwana family.
