All praise to Allah that everything went smoothly with you and your baby, may he be from the good ones inshallah. I wasn't gonna say this, but since you guys mentioned it in your video, and you Leena is an "influencer", I have to say this....We can give birth without medications, and no, it's not advisable to get Pitocin since there are huge side effects to it, many women the epidural does not work for them, and the pitocin makes them go through unbearable pain, yes, even more painful than natural contractions without any dilation or positive progress, which can most likely lead to more interventions such as vaccums or biceps or even a cesarean. All these interventions make the woman lose control of her body due to the lack of communication between her mind and body. Not to mention that the baby goes through more pain when the mother is on an epidural, because her body stops producing certain chemicals to lessen the pain on the baby because the body does not know anymore that it is going through pain, and pitocin is linked to many health problems for the baby like neural disorders or even autism. So no, please don't promote for these kinda stuff, at least mention that there are side effects and encourage people to do proper research before giving in to all the unnecessary medical interventions that have traumatic effects on both the mom and the baby, which I am sooo glad this was not your case. I wish we Muslim women on social media are more informed on these topics and don't just follow blindly. And I think i am speaking on behalf on the moms who chose to go unmedicated: We do not to choose to endure pain in vain.

Your make up is intact!😂it's like your not even in labor, I can't imagine fixing your makeup before you talk to the camera and 😮I forgot epidural 😂😂😂😅

Epidural can have side effects both short term and long term I wouldn't automatically advise anyone to have one unless they absolutely can't cope with the pain. I'm from Australia and I find it interesting watching birth videos etc from the US the entire delivery process is so different. In Australia Obstetricians are only present if there are complications, midwives handle the entire delivery. Epidural is not given automatically given and an induction generally would only happen if you were a few days over due date or if there are complications etc That being said your story is alhumdulillah beautiful may Allah swt make everything easy for you and keep your growing family safe❤❤❤
