Leena. One more suggestion, please make dresses for pre teen girls. Everyone makes little girl dresses but forgets about the little women in our lives. My 11 year old has a hard time finding modest clothes in her size. She wears a 14 in youth
Love the dresses but I'm not so sure how they'll look on someone who's not your body type. Unfortunately what's marketed as modest for skinnier hijabis is very unflattering for curvier hijabis :(
Agreed! Since her last the drop launch, I’ve gained weight and don’t look good in those dresses (I ordered 3 from the collection). In general, a lot of modest brands design more body hugging styles. I absolutely *hate* dresses with details around or on the stomach-who wants to emphasize that?!

I was raised catholic, went to communion, conformation and all that when I grew up. When I went to college I joined a Jewish sorority and learned all about a culture/religion I never knew about. Being in a sisterhood like that opened my eyes to that. I have been watching your Chanel and have been following you for a year. I’ve learned so much about the Islamic faith and I admire it. Please make dresses in cottons if possible and also designs for women who have a larger chest and hips. Floral options and bright colours would be amazing as well. ❤
About time Leena! I hope you can give your clothing brand a lot of focus and not limit it to princess dresses! As much as I love them. I love your colours! Also your dresses are great for people with body types like yours but please help out the ones with curves, and wide hips! Ideally clothes that aren’t tight around the butt please please! I have high hopes for your winterline!!
Can I make a suggestion? I think you should use paper bags rather than plastic because it’s better for the environment. But then again, the rain forest is being chopped down and paper comes from trees so idk. But maybe you could look into that. All packaging material should come from recycles plastic, anyway. That would be great. (In general, not yours only.) xxx
Another suggestion: I always look for natural fabrics so it would be great if you could incorporate some in your collection (maybe the next one because this one is already so far developed).
I love the style of the first chocolatey one and the assymetrical drop waist - I, too, prefer to spend my money on natural fabrics as I live in a very humid climate and need breathable clothing. I am so very happy for you, Leena, and very grateful for your style of making modest very beautiful, as well.
Love the addition of the zipper for nursing! Would you consider using more cotton and linen fabrics that are lightweight and natural versus synthetic? I'm trying to buy more earth-friendly, environmentally safe fabrics these days that don't leak microplastics into our bodies
Yes Plz include the same dresses for petite 5'2" and under girls! I already know I'm going to need to take these to be hemmed. It's OK, in time! I personally loved the ivory color of that one dress! But don't want to feel like I'm in a wedding gown, so maybe the pink is alright too! Love the assymetry! Will support!
I agree! And also making the dresses with shorter waists for the petite dresses! The waist on regular fit dresses is pretty much always on my hips and not flattering 😫
Looks great! Some suggestions in addition to using natural fabrics: 1. Please use biodegradable packaging. We try to be an eco friendly household, and it would be such a great incentive to buy.
Would like to know the fabric for all these pieces. Although some are thin and lightweight, would wonder if it’s actually breathable. Her drop with Amazon consisted mostly of polyester 😕
So happy for you! I won't be purchasing any from this collection because, like a lot of other pieces from you, it's all warm desert colors. Not everyone looks good in warm tones and beiges. But I'm glad that you're taking this step and now will be able to speak more freely and authentically instead of being restricted by brand contracts.
Love the chiffon in blush! I only wear abayas outside but it's nice having modest dresses for women only occasions 😊 I hope you will do some abayas in some of those materials as well❤
Congratulations!! we need more modest collection especially affordable ones!. I just wanted to ask that for the next collection if we could have more pieces that aren't made with materials that hug the body and give it a lot of shape. A lot of girls are curvier and they do not want to show their shape when wearing modest clothes as it defeats the purpose of being modest. So if we could have dresses that have a shape but not necessarily clinging to our figure that would be awesome!!
I love these pieces so much! I can see lots of horizontal lines though, which might be unflattering on other body types. For someone who’s short like me, I’m looking for modest outfits that give me a slim appearance and the illusion of a bit more height :) I would also love natural fabrics and things to wear daily. Definitely the light pink over the ivory, although depends on skin tones. Every thing else is amazing. Please ship to the UK! We have a big Muslim community here and we really need something like this. Would also love if you could support a Palestinian charity with every purchase.
The dresses are so pretty. I'm tall about 173cm so it's hard for me to find a long dress to cover my ankles. I'm so tempted to get the burgundy colour because I like darker colours to avoid obvious accidental stains due to having children. Lol. I also love the belt type because I would look very tall and big without any curves if there's no belt or something to pull back all the cloth. The designs are honestly what I'm looking for in a modest dress. I just hope there's more darker colours like navy blue, dark green, dark purple, coffee, khaki, black, brown, along those lines. 😊

The lenght is acceptable this time round but u failed in modesty wrt to the synched waist and butt area...modesty means loose fitted. Nobody should be able to even guess your waist size and buttock area
The ivory looks so beautiful and bridal too. Could you do the khaki dress with a thicker waist too? So the sinched in portion would be wider for those who are not pregrant and would like more slimming effect.. Would you do emerald green and royal blue? Exciting stuff! I hope you take people’s feedback into account (I’m confident you will). Another thing about modest dresses is the neckline. As a hijabi, I need to wear a neck-covering extension with almost everything! That works for day-to-day casual wear, but it’s definitely going to ruin such beautiful dresses. Better neck coverage will be really appreciated!
I'd really love to see someone offering an option to women who are shorter but still want fitting modest clothing - i'm short myself and getting maxi dresses has been an absolute struggle. They all end up being too long (some of them are literally as long as my whole height from head to toe :( ), with all the details sitting in the wrong places. idk how many people are having the same issues, but it would be amazing if there is someone who makes petite sizes.

The problem I have with most modest wear brands is usually they’re for skinny, straighter body types and not for curvier body shapes. I’m sick of all these tight/body fitting straight dresses! I hope your brand accommodates xx

If you do an image search you can see these are dresses that are mass produced..I’m not sure but I get the vibe she’s passing these along as her designs? Idk I could be wrong about that but these dresses are already online with different “labels”, search Summerevenings, the dresses are the same.

I'm at 2:08 min ‼️ and had to share with you. You have to make a scrub collection too! Just to give a little homage to your nursing career with different girly shades if possible in pastel colours ❤. Maybe even hospital gowns for modest and comfortable labour whether it is a water birth or on the bed. So excited for you Leena! Congratulations 👏🏻🎉
I think you should make ivory/ off white, black and maybe navy for all of the designs. Because then it would fit all occasions and all seasons. Off white dresses can be worn as wedding dresses.
