I just got a lab/bulldog mix on June 1st of this year for free online. She was 8 weeks old the day I got her. She is so friendly, smart, and growing fast! She was about 11lbs when we got her and now 25lbs. Training her is so easy. It only took 8 attempts for give me paw.... Love the lab and can't wait for her to be full size.

No way I found this video reading an article to potty train my black lab puppy and we named him Loki we’ve had him for 2 weeks now. Just so cool that I came across a random video with a puppy same color same bread and same name

I have adopted dogs for years. This is the first dog I even got as a puppy. There is nothing wrong with once every few decades to own a puppy. I wanted the joy and experience of raising my own. All my life all my horses and dogs in my life have been adopted or rescued. I’ve adopted 2 horses, rescued 1 horse, adopted 2 dogs in my life.

I feed as many as I could everyday I was there. I gave them lots of love and attention when they allowed me to pet them. There was one in particular I wanted to bring home, but I saw this year and was happy that where he usually hangs out the people in a home near there put a collars on him and told me he had a name now! They put collars on 3 of them and saw a few new ones. I saw they kept food and water out. I would have brought him home the first time but with the whole they say in quarantine for many months, I felt that would be hard on the pupper to move to another country

My daughter caity got a blone one ( dolly ) for her birthday and she carried her round slept with her for about a year but after she grew up she lost interest and so now i get up, well actually dolly wakes me up at 6am we go for a long walk, come back i give her brakefast we play for around 3 hours, then we both have a afternoon nap, then we go out again and play fetch for a while, and she likes to sniff around for a bit, then we go home for dinner and play for another 3 hours, when she goes up stairs to see caity she says, "no dolly go down the stairs".. i feel sorry for her, so she sleeps on the sofa in my room. She literally follows me EVERYWHERE we've been glued to each others side for nearly 2 and a half years, she's got separation anxiety, and panics when left alone, its just something that has gotten into the memory DNA of some Labradors, i have no idea why that is, maybe they were mostly kept in dens next to the stables with dozens of other labs for shooting and hunting..

How did you train him to potty? i just got mine home and it's chaos everywhere...

The trick we used is when you see him going you can lift him to a spot (balcony, bathroom or outdoors) where youd like him to go and leave him there. Within a few days (weeks) he’ll realize thats where he is allowed to go. Please keep that spot area consistent so he learns it. Until then be sure to have some pee pads ready for accidents. you need to be a little strict when it is a puppy,,,that he has some fear of you,,,when you speak in high pitch he gets scared then its the best

Dressing up any dog is just selfish. Do not try to tell me that you do it because the dog really wants to wear a costume. They do it to please their owners.Also look up what the fibres on Tennis Balls does to a dogs teeth. I am not implying that you are mistreating the sweet puppy in any way. My point is that dog owners need to know what they are doing before getting a cute dog.
